Location - The perfect location in Biarritz. View - Our view was amazing. Terrace - We had a large view overlooking the plaza and ocean.

The room was very small and the man in the room next to us sat right outside our room (on his side of the dividing wall on the terrace) and smoked every 45 minutes. His rudeness made it impossible for us to enjoy our terrace.

The location is incredible, amazing views of the sea and beach. The hotel is decorated to a high standard, the room that we stayed in was probably a smaller room but still a good size. The staff were friendly and looked after us well. The hotel is situated in the middle of the town, busy but there was very little noise overnight.

The only thing that we had a problem with was parking. It is difficult to get to the hotel in the day, pedestrianised areas have been implemented in the town, which is great, but the hotel is within the zone. We got to the recommended car park but had a roof box on our car (carrying equipment to next destination). Biarritz car parks are underground and have a 1.9 or 1.8m height restriction, we couldn't get in. It would have been useful if the hotel had warned of that. We managed to park, but a long distance away. One to be aware of. Even if we could have got in most car parks were full because the place was so busy.

Spacious, well-decorated room with amazing terrace with bay view. You basically can spend all the time there, not even leaving the room. Hammam is a nice addition, especially for a rainy weather. Being not a traditional buffet with smaller variety, breakfast was freshly cooked and well-prepared, with granola and pan perdu as my favorites. It's the same variety to have breakfast in your room or restaurant. We've also ordered some stuff from the restaurant for dinned and food was very good. Stuff was very professional and helpful, able to find solutions for everything.

I was a bit misled thinking that elevator will bring me right from the parking to the reception, however, there are stairs and a bit of walking in between. So I would recommend getting smaller stuff and don't refuse help with bigger items. Another thing to think of is a terrace solution for rainy days - would be great to have some cover for terrace furniture.

Cafe de Paris was the perfect place to stay while in Biarritz,it's right in the center on the beachfront and perfectly situated between shops abd restaurants. we would definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to Biarritz. We got the bus straight from the airport into the centre. It took about 7 minutes. Ideal.

Honestly there were really no negatives maybe that the safe was right on the floor of the room difficult to access.

We loved Hotel de Cafe de Paris. Breakfast was outstanding although we had to figure out the menu which wasn’t very clear. The first day we accidentally ended up ordering everything on the menu. Dinners were even better, highly recommend. The view is amazing and the staff were very welcoming and helpful.

The breakfast menu could be clearer in mentioning that everything is a la carte.

We booked with breakfast, but with this option, one is tretated as second class customers (external breakfast guest were served immediately). We sat almost 30 minutes in front of three small marmalades with nothing else showing up. Finally the ordered coffee and tea arrived but no bread, no butter, no croissants - although they say, this stuff comes automatically, we needed to beg for every item. There are other choices on the menue which should come "on demand" and that worked out after 30 minutes wait time - this was somehow disappointing. The quality of the breakfast (once it has arrived) was indeed very good (very good baguette, jambon, eggs, Bircher muesli etc), but the fact that we needed so much waiting time was disappointing.

We had a beautiful and direct view of the ocean with an unexpectedly large terrace. The breakfast was quite good and varied at a very reasonable price, especially when considering comparisons in the area.

Parking was unfortunate because of street closures when we were there. The staff was ready to help with luggage, though (when arriving).

Considering the large amount of English guests, the breakfast drinks could have included an English Breakfast brand among the green & other speciality teas on offer - we had to drink coffee instead. The only cooked meals were scrambled eggs & smoked ham (cold).

Being an elderly couple we found the bath extremely high & not easy to get into.

Good size room and bathroom. There was a delicious regional vanilla cake in the room that was free to guests. There's a lovely sea view from the large window and it has a great central location near the beach and shops. The restaurant in the hotel was bustling in the evening and the food was delicious.

Everything good, only issue there is no valet service and public parking ( very very close) does no allow to drop all luggage in front of the hotel but few meter away.
