The staff were exceptional, they couldn't do enough for you. Witness, Nancy and Naomi are an asset to the hotel, they have excellent customer service skills. Breakfast was always good, plenty of choice and high quality. When went out to Majete early one day and Naomi organised a breakfast for us due to leavinv early, this was much appreciated. We ate in the restaurant six out of seven evenings and we enjoyed everything we got, especially the chocolate mousse and the Chambo.

We had a problem with the safe, which the staff resolved but the sticking lock reoccurred, we just didn't use it for the rest of our stay and reported it on leaving. This wasn't a major issue but maybe following up on such things would be helpful.

I loved my stay at Casa Mia. Iv stayed here before but this time was even better. The dining room has been done up even nicer and my room was very comfortable and spacious. I love the food here too and there’s a great menu! The location is just a short walk from the city and very convenient. Check in and out was very fast and easy, important after a busy day. I will definitely continue to stay here when in Blantyre next.

There was a small leak from the toilet but I reported it on check out and they said they would get it fixed straight away.

The hotel was a 12-minute walk from my conference venue (Sunbird). Breakfast was great, I loved the ambience (I was there during the Christmas season). It was very hot at the time but the air con worked just fine. What I really appreciated was that the hotel was very helpful with calling me taxis to bring me back to the hotel (not just from the hotel). I didn't have any kwacha, but the hotel agreed to put my taxi bills on my account so I didn't have to worry about how I was going to pay for the taxi!

Casa Mia is a lovely place to stay. Everything was wonderful, from the staff to the food and surroundings. A short walk away from the centre of Blantyre which means you can access the bustle and enjoy the peace at the hotel. Gardens are lovely and well kept. Rooms are high quality and the beds are so very comfortable. Thoroughly recommended.

All good here, room fine and food not bad. Nice and quiet. I stayed here because of the onsite geocache.

The mosquito net didn’t work (i.e. it wouldn’t slide on the rail) but spray was provided and actually I didn’t see any mosquitoes.

The garden upfront is nice with the different birds.

That cancellation fee had to be paid even when the reason of late cancellation was due to passing away of a parent. I would expect some understanding. It had to do with the fact that we booked the hotel via booking.com and not directly via the hotel website.

The ambience was exquisite and location was safe and close to CBD

I felt my room was not particularly clean..the beddings had a smell of a man's sweat

We arrived late due to problems wth the new one way traffic system and were shown straight to our rooms, leaving check in until later. All very efficient andgood dinner afterwards. Thoroughly recommended.

Nothing! If being pedantic swimming pool was closed due to maintenence but not an issue as we were only thete one night.

Staff very friendly, location in the nature, with a nice swimming pool. Quite spot, perfect for working or resting. the garden is clean and maintained. Nice restaurant in the lodge, few rooms and you fell comforted with the settings and the staff.

Comfortable, clean, nice grounds and pool and super food. The owner was extremely helpful with information before we arrived, his local knowledge was great. There is a driver, Locke, who is linked with the hotel, we found him extremely reliable and helpful.

The road is a bit rough.
