A great stay in a wonderful hotel that was in a great location for our needs. The staff were excellent and so helpful and seemed to recognise us when we left and arrived back to the hotel during our stay. There was always a smile or a wave, the team on the bell desk and the concierge were very helpful. Thapa, one of the front service people was a delight and was always asking if we needed anything or had had a good day. Staying for 9 nights in one place can often be a bit of a stretch, but it never felt like that, and the added bonus of a few extras for long staying guests was a nice touch. There are a lot of food options around the hotel so we didn't actually eat there so can't comment on the food service. My wife had a massage and facial treatment that she thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Fukuoka.

The only thing was the smell of cigarettes as you walked into the hotel from the Canal City side.

The location of this hotel is brilliant! We walked to all the restaurants which concierge recommended and they were all outstanding. The shopping malls are within walking distance as is the subway. The staff at the hotel were so kind and welcoming . The daily breakfast served was delicious! Best pancakes !!!

The lobby bar was a little disappointing. The standard of the drinks list was very average and I would have expected more from the Grand Hyatt. Thank goodness there was Martinis which opened daily at 6pm where you could get a glass of champagne and descent vodka.

Grand Hyatt Fukuoka’s rooms are spacious and well-provided with towels, bathrobes, comfortable pajamas and other basic necessities. The windows may be opened upon request which makes guests’ experience all the greater. Shopping packages are easily left with Concierge and, upon return to the room, they await. The best thing, though, is Grand Hyatt Fukuoka’s ease in assisting guests with Post Office items. We can rely on Grand Hyatt to get our packages shipped even after checkout after ensuring proper fees are paid.

There is nothing we didn’t like. It has been a pleasure to return to Grand Hyatt Fukuoka. Hoping to visit again sometime.

Staff very attentive, amazing bathroom with shower and large bath in the room, pool and gym, location, clean.

I would recommend that the restaurants in the hotel carry a vegetarian menu pre-approved, and that staff is aware of what vegetarian, ovo-lacto-vegetarian, and vegan mean. When we asked it was obvious that the staff didn’t know and had to go ask. With the amount of tourism Fukuoka gets, providing a vegetarian menu should not be difficult since Japan has amazing vegetables and many Buddhists.

The staffs were very pleasant and friendly. Eason was excellent and he was very helpful, especially he speaks our language that really makes our travel a lot more easier. He helped us to make restaurant reservations, car rental……, it’s not the same without him. Greatly appreciated!!

The hotel room smelled stinky. The carpet was so old especially on the 12th floor, very disappointed, it did not meet the Grand Hyatt standard.

Excellent! It was my 1st experience with Grand Hyatt! Excellent customer service! All staffs are polite, courteous, helpful and thoughtful! The food in the club is excellent. I have enjoyed the meals so much! Room are comfortable and clean! Love the Spa, gym and health club facilities! Enjoyed my yoga and body maintenance classes! Instructors are excellent. Thank you for making my stay a memorable one!

The hotel is perfected located for getting around Fukuoka. Walking distance of Hakata train station but also walking distance to all the local shops, restaurants and shrines. Very spacious bedroom.

The hotel was a little on the expensive side and we often heard banging at night from the guests in the rooms either side of ours.

Staff are very competent & efficient. I'll need to mention Xavier at the front office, extremely helpful & offered sound advice on the most optimum in planning our sightseeing itinerary. Location is very convenient & centralised too. All in good value for money

The bathrooms could do with some towel holders as there are nowhere to hang the small & medium towels

3rd time to stay in Hyatt Fukuoka, staff very helpful, help us to make the restaurant reservation before a week we stay, Canal City just next the hotel, B1 has a lot of restaurants, location is the best, my kids love it and will stay 4th time when we visit again

The staff was incredibly helpful, whether early in the morning or late at night, always ready to meet our needs with genuine hospitality. They even surprised us with a birthday cake, making the stay extra special. The hotel is conveniently connected to the mall, offering a quick shortcut for shopping. I highly recommend staying here, and I’ll definitely be back. It was the best experience in Fukuoka!
