I am so happy with my decision to book at the "Auberge under the trees".  The property was spotless and so thoughtfully decorated and equipped.  The room was spacious, clean and luxurious with quality bedding, ample closet and drawer space, a Nespresso machine, mini fridge, tv, cell chargers.  The bathroom was clean and supplied with lotion, shower gel and shampoo. The people were friendly, kind, informative and helpful right from the time of booking when they answered each of my questions in the same day or the very next morning up until the very end of our stay.  The hallways were very clean and there was a plastic boot mat outside each room for the convenience of leaving your wet boots. While there was a basket with slippers at the door next to a chair for ease and convenience to remove your boots upon entry if you chose.   The main lobby/living room area had lovely art of local area scenery with a piano and large leather couches by the fireplace.   The breakfast area had several small tables in a very clean, well decorated and inviting space. They provide a perfect continental breakfast from 7-10 each morning with a variety of coffees and teas and hot chocolate. Bread, fresh gluten free banana bread, boiled eggss, oatmeal,  yogourt with granola and several topping options, cheese, jams, peanut butter and apples. We enjoyed sitting in the room enjoying the view inside and out the window while we are our breakfast with the soft music playing in the background. It was a great playlist. We were invited to help ourselves to the teas or snacks  left out on the counters during the rest of the day if we wanted something. The outdoor area looks great to sit and enjoy by the firepit but we didn't get a chance during our stay to sit outside. The auberge is located in the heart of downtown.  There is a parking lot in the back of the building that can be accessed from the side street rue de la cathédrale.

Very nice welcome by Stephany, the co-owner, we were a bit early but she let us have the room. We received a small welcome drink, while she explained everything. Beautiful room, fantastic bed and very nice bathroom, with everything you need in it. They have beer,wine and snacks. The breakfast is included in the price. We highly recommend this place. Very close to restaurants.

For older people or people who have difficulties with knees, be aware many stairs to take. But they are very helpful and offer to help with luggage.

This hotel was absolutely stunning. Well appointed rooms with a beautiful view of the bay. Everything was spotlessly clean and of the highest quality. The staff was fabulous. The breakfast was delicious. I have stayed at all of the hotels in Gaspé over the past 3 years and this is, by far, the nicest hotel.

The bed was a little creaky. But fit with the style of the room. But this was such a minor point. Everything was truly perfect.

This GEM can't be missed! Five stars all the way! The location was stunning and convenient. The auberge sits on a hillside, allowing a full view of the water. We enjoyed a glass of wine on the balcony before walking down the street for dinner. Our room was on the third floor. It was spotless and the most comfortable we have yet to experience.We truly felt as though we were visiting friends. The decor was a mix of old and new and upscale magazine worthy. The nespresso machine in the room was also a plus. The hosts, Stephanie and Diego, could not have been more welcoming and a pleasure to chat with! We highly, highly recommend the Auberge Sous Les Arbres.

Incredible service and wiliness to help, particularly when I had flight and transportation issues to get the town. The hotel design is classic, and amazingly clean. Supplies cover all my needs, including good coffee, tea, fridge and utensils, Bathroom cosmetics as well. Internet worked very well for work.

The Auberge is attractive, comfortable and well presented. The staff member on duty was very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing. it would have been nice to have some fresh fruit and fresh bread, not just sliced toast and processed food. We also found Gaspe a real disappointment as a Town. Just one bar/restaurant and nothing to see.

It was very comfortable and it had all the amenities that you need. The staff were helpful and friendly. We booked a second night as we liked it so much!

A beautiful place to stay. Loved the room, so spacious and all the details were thought through. We were very warmly welcomed. The bed was comfortable and the room was spotless. So many places nearby to visit, to eat in.

Breakfast was inconsistent. One day ok, next day quite poor, next day really great. We ever knew what was going to be there. Except coffee and cereal. They were always available.
