Very easy system to open the frontdoor and door of the room. Beds were cleanly made up every day. Shower and the whole bathroom were excellent and clean. Coffee and tea available on the premises. Airconditioning unit was very welcome!!

Not a lot of space to clear out your luggage, room is not the biggest and the kingsize bed takes up a lot of space. Very thin walls so you can hear your neighbours.

I really like "Kingsize", it is in the city centre so a great location. The building is newly refurbed, but I love the history link with the Dutch peppermints. There are no staff present but the check in to the building and then your room is all done by your mobile phone (it is free and easy) which is super modern and handy and forward thinking. You can use bikes if you want (they are in the communal area) The rooms are bright and clean and comfortable. The rooms have a fridge with bottled water and tea/coffee provided. I have stayed at least 5 times as I visit Sneek regularly. I highly recommend.

Room nice size, situated in a nice place easy to get about.

Needs a bit of fine finishing around the floor area as the trim was coming off, also it looks like a shelf not secured against the wall and must have broke and now sits on the window sill. (I am a carpenter and look at detail) air con wasn’t working properly, I couldn’t get it to work and get the temperature down enough.

I stayed at this hotel for a 3 days and had a great experience overall. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. The only minor issue I had was that my phone didn't activate the automated doors. The receptionist told me that this had never happened in her 6 years of working there, but she was happy to help me find a solution. She went out of her way to buy a phone and sim card for me to use to enter the hotel. I was very grateful for her help, and it made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay. I liked the combination of location and price.

the room was very clean but smell in the room was VERY strong from the cleaning supplies or whatever used to make it smell nice. The room had to be aired out but still smell was very strong. when room was booked via booking. com there was confusing info on the confirmation email. even though we didn’t book breakfast with our stay, the confirmation email said we had breakfast included in the booking. when we called about it they told us that it was a mistake. A bit of a embarrassing situation.

Good location, good sized apartment & bathroom. Air conditioning system very good. Quiet location.

Outside roadworks (not a problem caused by the apartment). Phone key system didn't work, but fixed with manual key

Spacious and ventilated. All you need is there. The breakfast is outstanding! Phoning the opening code from our mobile did not open the door and the host was immediately available to help us entering from a distance.

Entering with a code from a different country’s phone is challenging and distressing in bad weather, but the solution was available

A very central location, close to some nice canal-side restaurants. The unusual entry system, using one’s mobile phone, worked perfectly. We arrived by bike and the lodgement was very amenable to bikes being brought inside the hallway overnight. Breakfast was ample, though some fresh fruit would have been welcome. But overall a great place to stay

I love the building and the history of the King peppermint, location is fab, rooms clean and comfy, self service and door access super swift, great coffee. I have stayed here many times.
