We originally booked a week but extended our stay for longer it was that perfect. Such a wonderful place to stay with kind care and attention from all the staff. We stayed in the King Suite which had amazing views across the sea, watching the sun set every night. Our room felt like home and the bed was so comfortable - it's rare to sleep this good. We went swimming every day in the heated pool. We also loved the breakfast, one of the best hotel breakfasts we've ever had. Overall we can't recommend Payava Hotel enough, I think we've found our new winter get away and hope to stay again very soon.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel with the most wonderful staff! We were celebrating both our wedding anniversary and our son’s 2nd birthday, and the team went above and beyond to make the occasion special. On our toddlers birthday, the staff even came to our room to surprise our toddler with a candle lit cake, which was such a thoughtful touch!! All the staff were incredibly attentive, quickly addressing any questions or issues we had, which we greatly appreciated. We stayed in the Queen Room; it was spacious, absolutely beautiful, stylish, and spotless. Without a doubt, it’s one of the most comfortable rooms I’ve ever stayed. Highly recommend!!

The cafe across the road can get loud on an evening.

The staff were extremely friendly, always saying hello if you saw them around, very helpful and attentive. Easy to message reception through whatsapp, I was feeling unwell one day and they were very helpful giving directions to pharmacy, health clinic and offering help and advice. The rooms are very big! Very clean, coffee and tea facilities (no milk but we brought a small bottle from the Carrefour for about 50p) hairdryer, big clean shower, balcony, smart tv with amazon, netflix, youtube etc. Pool was great, in the sun all day. Didn’t feel like we had to rush for beds and even so there are more chairs down the side of the hotel. Food was delicious and very reasonable & Free bottled water from the bar was great and saved us the walk to the supermarket!:) Walk into and from town was difficult in the scorching sun but reception are very glad to call taxis and they come within minutes. We were so happy with our stay and for the price (£300pp for 7 nights) it exceeded all of our expectations. Thank you so much to all of the staff for making it an unforgettable holiday!!

Breakfast was fresh and varied each day with a huge choice of local produce prepared to a high standard. The breakfast time of 8.30 to 11am was very generous and when asked, the staff went to extra lengths to provide omelettes and various coffees.

On occasions, we struggled to get two sun loungers round the swimming pool. We were only made aware the night before we checked out, that we could have used the pool facilities at the sister hotel, the True Blue, a short walk away which would have made a difference. One minor criticism was that there was no information i.e a booklet or any literature, about the hotel or Kalkan in our room which would have been useful,

This is an absolutely fantastic hotel, it has everything one might need. The pool is clean and warm! We stayed in January and the temperature was perfect to swim. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious, a mixture of Turkish specialities and everyone will find something for them. The restaurant itself is quite reasonably priced and also delicious. The greatest asset of this hotel is the staff, we have never felt so cared for in a hotel. They were there to help us with anything we needed. They even made us a packed lunch for the journey to the airport! I cannot recommend this place enough.

Beautiful buffet breakfast, kind and welcoming staff. Shout out to Bayram who organised a transfer from the airport the night before I arrived and Erdem who seemed to be there 24/7 and was so hospitable and friendly. Room was excellent and bed very comfortable. Located about 10 min walk from the harbour and shopping area. I would stay again!

Booking.com describes the pool as heated which was one of the key reasons I booked this hotel, but staff advised this is only once the weather turns colder. Was a bit disappointed, it might be worth checking with the hotel before booking if that’s important to you.

Nice clean hotel with good breakfast with many choices. Convenient private parking (not street parking). Location on the quieter side of Kalkan, with only 3 minutes drive (or 20 minutes walk) to the center. Amazing beach bars nearby (but very hilly road).

Pool is rather small but we have not used it anyways. Rooms facing the street are quite noisy as there are several bars and restaurants in front, which play loud music till midnight and on some nights longer. We had a small explosion as we tried to plug-in hair dryer, but issue was handed well and professionally as hotel offered us to change the rooms straight away.

Beautiful property, yummy breakfast, refreshing pool, great AC, spacious gorgeous rooms with comfy beds and very good storage and shelving, large modern bathroom nice smelling amenities, convenient free parking, and last but not least … an extremely wonderful kind caring staff ! Especially Neymar and the young ladies serving breakfast. Thank you Neymar for going the extra mile and making my Father’s Day very special. 🤗

Hotel was amazing and staff are so fantastic. We were in room 409 and stayed 4th July to 18th July. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast is the best we've had at a B&B hotel. Definitely will go again.

I would have used the balcony more if there had been comfy chairs. Some rooms do have relaxing chairs. I think this would be a good investment.
