Great location, big and comfortable room, good breakfast. Parking.

No sound proof at all. You basically can hear every word people are talking in the next room and in the corridor.

The hotel was quiet, clean, and in a very convenient spot within walking distance of the town centre, but not too close that you have heavy foot traffic. The breakfast was also delicious. We were surprised to find that the room actually had real matresses and not "foam toppers" like in many hotels these days. They also had good quality memory pillows. Needless to say we had a great sleep. It's the little things like that which you can tell that the owners have invested care and thought in to the hotel. Say hi to the cat for me!

Excellent spacious room with a superb and spacious attached bathroom. Even better, it was a heated drying rack for clothes in the bathroom, so you can safely be out and about in the rain. Everything will dry up. (September before central heating has come on). Everything was spotlessly clean. Excellent WiFi which really worked everywhere. Friendly staff who spoke English. The excellent restaurant has 3 different sitting areas, inside, outside and half outside. Excellent location set back from the main pedestrian street and just 350m from the bus station.

It was nothing I didn't like.

I recently stayed at Jēkaba sēta in Kuldiga and had a wonderful experience. The hotel provided a comfortable and pleasant stay with well-maintained rooms and a welcoming atmosphere. The highlight was undoubtedly the delicious breakfast each morning, which featured a variety of tasty options. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. If you're visiting Kuldiga, I highly recommend Jēkaba sēta for a good stay and a delightful breakfast.

I was disappointed with the massage service. It was advertised as a full body massage lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes, but it barely lasted 50 minutes. To make matters worse, the massage did not include my shoulders and neck at all, despite being marketed as a full body experience. This lack of attention to detail and the misleading information significantly detracted from my overall experience

Breakfast was good with eggs,bacon, croissant and I really liked the coffee. Close by are to two supermarkets and the shopping street. Room was modern. Hotel provided, on request, a waterboiler. Staff was friendly.

It is less sound proof, which is not a problem as long as others are aware about it. As it is small hotel, I asked the guests to reduce their sound level. Thanks for cooperating! Tv had some local channels, so not very useful.

Close to the Center and places of interest. Place had a good restaurant with very good food and service, we had both Breakfast and Dinner and were very happy with our meal and a good atmosphere .

The TV in our room had just a Areial only two stations, one Latvian and one Russian and considering it was winter Dark early and most shops close early Tv would have been nice, Also no internet in our room. In the restaurant there was free internet.

Compliments: candies with hotel logo (tasty caramel) Highly recommended :)

No kettle in the room (in the evening, sometimes, you want to drink some tea)

The welcome was friendly and welcoming, although it probably helped that my wife is Latvian, so could speak directly to the Receptionist in her own language. The lady also noticed that I was limping, so she automatically changed our room to a ground floor room. Check-in was easy, and accepted that my plans had changed to a 2 night stay instead of 3 nights. The Breakfast was exceedingly good with local and European choices available. Although at check out, I was somewhat surprised to be charged as I thought my breakfast was free, so an extra 36 Euros was charged, a cost I hadn't really planned for. It should have been 48 Euros, but I had been unwell on the first night and didn't have breakfast. I did question the charge and told that it was the norm. The breakfast cost was 12 Euro's per person. We didn't eat in their restaurant, this time, although we have eaten there on a previous time when we were in Kuldiga, and the food was excellent! The location was superb, very central to the Town of Kuldiga. 0 yards from the town centre. There was adequate parking once you found the way to the back of the Hotel. It was not easy, as there weren't any signs specific to the Hotel. We will definitely stay again.

To be honest, there wasn't really anything that I didn't like, except for being charged for breakfast. Although I didn't use the Sauna, there was one. Plus, in the hotel description, Booking. com state that there is a pool. There isn't. There is a 'Splash Pool' attached to the Sauna.

Breakfast - variety of food very good, pleases different taste buds, very good coffee, nothing "major" but everything what you need for good and healthy breakfast. Room - clean, comfortable, quite. Location - few minutes form center, very good location, quite, private parking.

there was a little bit cold in the bathroom, but we're there when at night time was -11 degrees, so it is understandable and didn't ruin anything.

We loved the room, location was perfect and staff was really nice. We would no doubt stay there again and we will recommend it to our friends and family

The breakfast was a bit expensive and we paid an extra for the coffee from the machine which is ok but it was too milky for us, not enough of expresso for a perfect taste. We would no doubt stay there again but I think the next time we wouldn't go for a breakfast there, but only because we love a good barista coffee.
