Our stay was truly enjoyable. The hotel is very stylish, beautifully blending old-world charm with modern touches. Thoughtful historical details throughout the property add a unique character. Its location is perfect—right in the very center of Kuldīga, just a minute’s walk from the main attractions. We were also lucky to get free parking in the hotel’s backyard. Breakfast was delicious, complete with Prosecco, and the staff were kind and attentive. And yes = hotel is pet-friendly :)

In overall everything was great. The soundproofing could have been better, you could hear every little noise from the neighboring rooms.

Very nice design. Takes full advantage of being in an old warehouse which is the sprinkled with references to 60s and 70s. The room #9 has a very nice window that split-opens into a ala-franch-balcony. A lot of books in the room and in the separate bookshelf on the 2nd floor, which has two very comfy chairs to do some reading (or to play a chess on table that doubles as chess board). There is a lounge are with on the first floor. Should be ideal if a group of friends or several families rent individual rooms and then hang out together.

We loved the unique style of the hotel, wood floors, spacious room. The location was great, in the center of Kuldiga with secure parking in the courtyard. Breakfast was good.

The hotel was tricky to find, with the entrance in a courtyard. Check-in/check-out was in a restaurant across the square, which was a bit confusing at first. The bathroom was on the small side, though clean and functional. Stairs to our room on the second floor were narrow, a bit hard to navigate with luggage.

The location and the staff as per usual was super nice. The room is decorated in a way that feels both cozy and kitschy at the same time; the grey and brown tones are calming and allow you to fully enjoy the pleasant atmosphere. Also the room is very spacious which is superb when traveling with somebody else.

The bed mattress felt too firm for comfortable sleeping, and the room was rather chilly; however, the staff provided an extra blanket without hesitation.

I liked the breakfast, the high ceilings.

No blinds on the windows - so we woke up with the sun 4.30. Had to ask extra blankets to build covers…The shared kitchen had coffee but no milk. Our bathroom door didn’t close properly, so after showering the floor flooded. You can exit the building only with a key - can be bit of a dangerous in an emergency situation.

I really like my mattresses rather hard, but this bed felt a bit like sleeping on a plank. Also there is no blind in front of the window which means the sun wakes you up early.

Location and breakfast was great. The hotel, rooms are very well decoratedc clean. I was not pleased with the fact the there was no AC and the room was very, very hot once we arrived. Were not able to open the window since it was raining. Did it during the night and the room temperature got better. It was one of the hottest summer days though, doesnt happen often in Latvia😅

No AC, TV did not work or we were not able to start it😅

Designer boutique hotel with hipster aesthetic located in repurposed historic warehouse off the main square. Lots of artfully placed props — 1970s Swedish pop kitsch, old Soviet-era technology and reams of old books and magazines — create a homey vibe. Excellent made-to-order breakfast served at adjacent restaurant. Centrally located.

Check-in is confusing. It takes place off-property, in the restaurant on the main square, which isn’t clearly designated. The receptionist (also the restaurant manager) was, however, very friendly and helpful.

The room is very nice, comfortable bed. Breakfast is served in very nice restaurant, delicious. The ladies at the restaurant are very kind.

Maybe to consider, so many old books in the room can be difficult for smells and allergies. Also, it was not clear that they have parking and we can try it out and we did not receive any other advice, so we parked a bit far and then saw 2 free places. The room was spacious and super lovely, exactly what we needed. There was a good kitchen downstairs that was stocked with all the glasses and dishes we ever needed (found champagne flutes and beer glasses for our drinks). The atmosphere and the interior is beautiful, whish we had more time to enjoy all the books and music that was available for the guests !

I was not aware that the checking in was in a restaurant 2 min walk away, which was not ideal as it was raining, but that is the tiniest complaint.
