Hotel Plas Hyfryd provided a very comfortable stay right in the heart of Narberth. The location is perfect – with shops, restaurants, pubs, a post office, museum, church, and even a children’s playground, all just steps away. There’s also plenty of free car parking, which made things very convenient. The highlight of our stay was without doubt the staff. Rita and Jay offered outstanding customer service throughout – they were polite, friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They also gave us excellent local travel tips, which really enhanced our trip. We stayed in a family attic room (one double and one single). It was clean and comfortable, with fresh towels, condiments, and bins emptied daily by the housekeeping team. The double bed was a little firm but still manageable. The bathroom had everything we needed. Breakfasts were a real treat. The chef made a special effort to cater for our child – even turning rice crispies into “coco pops” by adding chocolate powder, offering Nutella for toast, and making scrambled eggs on request. The pastries, American pancakes with syrup, and cooked breakfast were all delicious and cooked exactly to our liking. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.
The only downside was that on one night after 10pm, other guests were noisy and inconsiderate, which disturbed our son’s sleep. Unfortunately, this was due to other visitors’ behaviour rather than the hotel itself.

Property is perfectly clean and ideally situated within easy reach of small town - we have stayed here 3 Times now - the staff we dealt with Jay and Jacqueline were very friendly and accommodating and worked so hard thought their shifts especially the busy breakfast time - we were made to feel welcome.
The fact that at 8pm there are not staff or Facilities unless there is an event on - there are other places to have a drink in the town but it would have been nice to come back to the hotel and relax there especially with the good weather and the lovely outdoor furniture.

Lovely comfy room. Great breakfast. Our room was off a small lobby through a door which unfortunately other (thoughtless) guests would just let bang shut so would wake us up. Friendly staff. Short walk to the shops which were lovely to wander round and a few minutes away walk is a place called the Hwb which has a range of food outlets and a bar which served amazing food. Not far to points of interest such as St David’s and Tenby.
Door banging shut late at night or early morning. Had a restaurant reservation for 1 of the nights but it was cancelled due to lack of staff(?)although it worked out well as we really enjoyed the food we had at the Hwb.

The room was spacious and comfortable... The beds are a good size... and very clean .. The facilities are very good .It's just near all the shops and bars and fantastic restaurants....Its a converted 18th century rectory, so it has some fabulous features... The staff are brilliant too ... check-in was smooth and quick...jess and jacqui made it so easy.... And i stayed for 2 nights, so I had jai and jess, who serviced breakfast, too... The staff are very good and also friendly and helpful... Well done made stay enjoyable... Breakfast is served freshly cooked to order... and delicious...with loads of choices... Hopefully, I will get to stay again in the future... I would definitely be back ... They have parking and electricity charged port.and a lovely seating area for the summer weather...didn't get dinner in hotel so can't comment.. But if like breakfast would be delicious. They have a lovely bar,and you have options of sitting outside ..... Thanks again for the comfortable and warm stay...
Nothing at all...😊😊😊😊

The hotel is very well positioned in Narberth, just a short walk to the lovely town with pubs, cafes, restaurants, shops, and the history. The hotel is modern, and is well designed and you get a great welcome on check-in, which was very quick. The room was very clean and modern and had everything we needed, a nice large comfy bed, a tv, kettle and a great bathroom. The breakfast room is very nice and well designed and the food is served quickly, hot and fresh, and has great options, and if you prefer something different than what's on the menu, but in keeping with what they have, it's no trouble at all.
For the price, I have no complaints about the hotel, it was fantastic value. Perhaps the only thing is the wi-fi could be better, but it was fine.

Pleasant room, decent size, also decent size bathroom with shower and bath, comfortable bed, nice view over park, and quiet, despite being on a mail road. Bar with fair amount of seating (except when there's an event). Restaurant also pleasant, and generous portions of food. Breakfast good, with a fair amount of choice. Nice fresh grilled tomatoes. Generally a comfortable slightly old fashioned (that is not a criticism!) hotel. Very close to the centre of Narberth. Easy free parking.
One of our party was in a room which had a bad smell from the drains - this was dealt with fairly rapidly, but is obviously an ongoing problem for that part of the hotel. It would have been nice to have some fresh fruit at breakfast. The wine list at dinner was extremely limited, and the bar ran out of sparkling water which was a bit strange. There was an event during our stay (on a weekday) which meant the bar and seating area was extremely busy, and parking not so easy.

I arrived a little bit earlier than the official check in time but was very pleased to be granted access to my room anyway. I was attending a local funeral service and the wake was being held here so it was very much appreciated to be able to get changed beforehand. Thank you to the friendly man with earrings on the reception desk! The veggie breakfast was amazing - too much to eat (although I really tried my best!) The lady serving was very efficient and very friendly. I think she had a Birmingham connection? Thank you!

Great facilities and the stuff were so friendly. Helena and Sally especially were so helpful with info and the service they provided was impeccable. The hotel itself was really impressive with unique decor. When we return for another holiday, we will be definitely booking here again. Thank you again.
Food options were a little let down. We wanted to book a table sitting outside in their wonderful fire lit table, but kids option were almost none and the rest of the food was more the higher end, not comfort. Maybe if the had more comfort food at a decent price, the restaurant would be more busy.

Second time staying in the hotel and it’s always a lovely stay. The room is perfect for us and the bed nice and comfy. The staff are all friendly and the location is perfect as just a short walk into the Main Street in Narbeth and only a 20 minute drive to Saundersfoot
The menu online was different to the menu in the restaurant on the day and it didn’t have the food I wanted. Not a massive issue but I was really looking forward to the risotto as I had it the last time we visited and it was incredible.
