We loved our stay here! The hotel has a slightly old-fashioned style, but it’s nice and comfortable. The location is amazing — lakes, trails, nature is around, yet only 10–15 minutes by bike to the city center. We travelled with our dog and got a ground-floor room with direct access to the grass, which was very convenient. The hotel even gave our dog a small gift. Breakfast was varied, with gluten-free options, and even decaf coffee (instant, but still nice). The spa is excellent, with direct access from the hotel (note: saunas are separate for men and women). Staff were friendly and helpful:) Some reviews say that the air conditioning doesn’t work well — this is true. There was a fan in the room, and it got a bit stuffy at night in summer. But opening the window solved the problem, and it was very quiet outside.

The only thing I missed was having a kettle or coffee in the room. There is free coffee available on the ground floor, but no milk next to the machine — and I personally like my coffee with milk. Also, there is a possibility to buy coffee from coffee machine like latte, etc. so, probably not big deal.

A great location with water and forests around the hotel and a walking distance from the Aulanko observation tower and the Häme Castle. A very nice spa, a small but a sufficient gym, a good breakfast, lovely staff. Great for a few days or a weekend in Hämeenlinna.

A shame they don't have a water kettle in the room, the spa and the gym close early (8pm on weeknights), and the Italian restaurant should step up its game (quite generic). Also, at least our room would need a refurbishing quite soon to be in line with the price of the place. Most furniture pieces were ok (the curtains were torn though), but the room and the bathroom seem dated.

Peaceful location near a big park. A lot of outdoor activities. Free parking. Nice spa facility. Lot of activities for adults and kids. Spacious bathroom.

No charging station for EVs. The laundry service isn't available during the weekend. No mini fridge and/or micro in the room.

The rooms were spacious, the restaurant was nice and the breakfast was good. The spa facilities were very good and the pools large and warm . We would very happy to return there

The decor could do with a refresh and using anti calcium products to clean the shower glass may be of benefit to stop the buid up on the glass. But we were still happy with our stay

The room and the environment are great. It's so quiet for professional purposes. Though I couldn't have a chance to visit the spa, but the breakfast was excellent. I love the nature surrounding the hotel rooms.

The first thing you notice upon arrival is that all things around hotel are pretty old-fashioned. I would say it is a retro hotel. But if you don't concentrate on lack of modern style of furniture & all things around hotel in general you can see that all services are superb. SPA area is great, staff are polite, friendly & professional, rooms are good & bed is comfy & cozy. Breakfast was simply amazing & location & surrounding of the hotel are breathtaking. :) So I totally recommend this hotel. :))

Great location! Lots to see/do nearby. Free parking! Ours was a fairly silent and spacious room with a sauna. Comfortable bed. Spa area was nice and our 1-year-old had fun there as well.

Decor and surfaces are dated. Room might need A/C when it's warmer outside.

+ beautiful wellness hotel and locationn close to a small sea + wellness area is very nice - different saunas, and different pools with different temperatures + nice equiped small gym + various breakfast buffet- there s 4 every 1 sth and good time windows : Mo-Sat: 630-10 am, Sun 730-11 am even in the last hour on Sat, Sun - the breakfast buffet is always refilled and there is free space to sit down + Spa is included and for free as well sauna, big time windows: Mo-Thurs: 8am-8 pm, Fr-Sat: 8 am -9pm, Sun 8am-7pm - very big, and there s a small outdoor pool as well + Nice bowling facility + lots of outdoor activities : Minigolf , Climbin area, walking area around the sea, and at end of sea there s a nice castle to visit, and if sth missing you re by car in town in 5 minutes + We ve been there for a wedding: free ironing room at Room no 221 was saving me :) + Stabil internet + Hotel shop offers from Snacks, Drinks to swim wear , tooth brush .. everything u need + Hotel shop has as well a little pharmacy shop if u ve fever, headache... + 24 hour reception and hotel shop + very cleaned hotel, helpful staff - ordered extra pillows and they were there at arrival + ordered a silent room and got one on higher floor , had a great sleeping quality + all in all I d stay there again and this hotel complex is very recommendable and has a good standard - and the location is very beautiful + very good tap water - you dont have to buy bottle water

- location is bit outside from Hämelina - so u need a car to come, but there s as well a bus connection from the railwaystation - Staff is a bit stiff - and not so communicative - but for Finnland its friendly :) - as I travel very much - some interaction at check in d make you feel more welcome - but its probably the mentality - Finnland is not Austria or Sweden :) ( where are you from, how was your travelling to our hotel... we ve chosen this room for you - is this ok or do you want to make an upgrade.... communciation is the key between customer and staff) - water boiler was missing at the room - which should be a standard, and at the reception there was no possibily to rent one

Location is magnificent. Spa was great.

I was missing fruit salad at the breakfast. Way too complicated to log in to the free Wifi, reception could also be better.

Beautiful location next to a lake. Wonderful saunas. Downtown Hameenlinna is a bit of a downer so a great alternative. Had a great obstacle course oriented towards children.

Breakfast was very good but the staff was slow to replenish some items.
