Everything was superb, our large room upstairs with plenty of storage space, a lovely comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The balcony view was amazing and had table and chairs and sunbeds. Prudence who looked after us was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. The property has two lounge areas with big sofas and sea view balconies. You have access to a fully fitted kitchen and dining area, so we could make our own breakfast and even dinner if you choose to. Prudence was helped by Thando (apologies if I've got the name wrong) and again she was so friendly and helpful. Zandra also came to meet us to make sure we were happy with everything. If you are visiting Jeffrey's Bay, this is definitely the place to stay.

Nothing at all to dislike.

The bed is so comfortable with an electric blanket if needed, there’s also air conditioner which makes the room so warm. During our stay it was windy and raining, these came in handy. The kitchen is so beautiful, we used it to make our own breakfast…so modern. God!! the view is sooo BEAUTIFUL this is the reason we booked. I’m afraid will be coming back in warmer days. I forgot about surfers 🏄 it’s so beautiful to watch them right from the comfort of our room. How nice 😊 We loved everything about the house, don’t hesitate just BOOK, it’s worth it.

The location of the house and therefore the view is more than beautiful, it is incredible. You have a clear view of the ocean. In addition to the room, you can use a small library, living room, kitchen, garden and fireplace room. The service team is very friendly and helpful. You can have breakfast right around the corner. 100m further on the beach there is a great breakfast buffet. We felt very, very comfortable. Thank you so much.

The view of the location was stunning and we really enjoyed the direct beach access as well as our big terrace. The room was very spacious. The guesthouse itself was furnished and decorated with lots of love for details as part of the communal spaces. There is a fireplace that gets prepped for you in the evening to enjoy some time on the communal terrace. Even marshmallow sticks were offered in the kitchen. Breakfast is only available at a café in close distance.

Not the most modern location but everything was maintained well.

We just loved the place. From our room, we had an amazing view over the ocean. The room is very well equipped. Also, this place is suitable for winter: our room has no humidity, and the heating works well. Prudence was very friendly and helped us. Thank you ! Finally, we used the common facilities, i.e., the kitchen. Once again, it is very, very well equipped, and there is a grocery store just next door.

The staff were unbelievable. So friendly, warm and helpful. The room was gorgeous and clean and had everything we needed. The location was epic. To see the surf we didn’t have to go down to the beach… we could decide straight from our balcony if the surf was good enough to catch a wave or two! Unreal experience and will definitely stay at Shaloha again on our next trip to JBay!!

Absolutely not one complaint

The accommodation is amazing. Such a beautiful house with lovely chill space downstairs and upstairs. Our room was fabulous. A great size, nice sofa, lovely bath and a great balcony with views out over the sea. The kitchen was well stocked with things for cooking however we never used it. There was a real fire lit outside which was a lovely touch. Everything was great. Only thing was it was a bit tricky to find it the first time and getting up to the accommodation could be tricky with bags etc. as there's steps up and no lift. But it's really a beautiful place. Wish we'd more than one night here. The beach is on your doorstep and the views are incredible. It's a wee bit out of the town so we'd to get a taxi in and out one night for dinner/drinks but this wasn't an issue.

Loved the bedroom and views of the beach, closeness to the sea. The facilities in kitchen were amazing, the help offered by Prudence was great.

The single chairs in the lounge need recovering and baskets on top of cupboards need to be thrown out

This very nice and comfortable guest house is located directly to the beach. Living room, kitchen and terrace are well appointed and offer a lot of space and comfort. The view from terrace and garden at the sea, especially at the rising sun is incredible! During breakfast we were able to watch the surfers on supertube, and lots of dolphins near to the beach! The next supermarket is just 3 minutes to walk.

We loved staying at Shaloha Guesthouse. Our bedroom was very comfortable and beautifully appointed, and the views from our balcony were truly magnificent! We highly recommend this beautiful guesthouse.
