The venue and facilities are excellent. I love that they are expanding and adding a restaurant and more rooms. Tiffany, the manageress, is just the best, She is helpful and looks out for guest needs. I cannot compliment her enough. We loved the peaceful surrounds and being able to relax and enjoy the facilities. We braaied in the communal braai facilities and were able to secure accommodation of an additional unexpected guest joining us

The facilities like the restaurant closes at 15H00 on Sundays. We were only informed the day we booked in. It would have been helpful if we were informed when we made the booking.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times before, and want to say a special thanks to the new owners for adding new, special touches to this already beautiful hotel. We have noticed a huge difference in customer service since our previous visit and the owners have added beautiful new decor elements, upgraded garden, garden furniture, etc since they have taken over this establishment. Keep up the good work. We will see you soon again.

It was a nice place to stay. The staff was nice and the rooms were clean. The scenery was lovely with the River. It was just a bit far away from everything. Its in a very tranquil area right with in nature.

Beautiful view and location

Only allowed us to buy pizzas from menu as there was a concert. The concert was supposed to finish at 5 but noise carried on until after 10pm which was not expected, but loved the place

I asked them to make it special because it was our 1st year wedding anniversary, they put rose pedals in a heart shape on the bed, and a happy anniversary card. Our dinner from the restaurant was waiting in the room, still warm. & the staff was really welcoming and nice ♥️

The room location with river view was exceptional.

No proper docking facilities for boats. Slipway is too short to get boat launched easily. The towel’s in the room were not replaced daily. The same dust on the DSTV decoder was still present after 3 days.

Peaceful and beautiful location. Friendly staff who were eager to make our stay memorable. Sitting on the verandah for a meal was indeed special.

Mosquitoes and flies, but to be expected with water and farms surrounding the hotel.

Beautifull and peacefull. The breakfast and Sunday Lunch are divine. we ordered the signature bread to take home

we forgot our dood in the fridge. The staff knew that we will be back at 14:00 because we ordered the delicious bread. When we asked about the food they said sorry it is gone they dispose it. Really it is hard to believe. The shower mat was wet when we arrived at our room

The friendly and most helpful receptionist to the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms and the restaurant service was comparable to our stays at some of the best locations world wide ( we have travelled extensively, including most European, several Far East countries, New Zealand, Canada, Australia and all 50 USA states). The location is stunning and peaceful, a real Gem.
