Breakfast great and Tsepho is amazing. He assisted us with all we needed and was so accommodating. We had booked into the only available room on booking.com which wasn't great when we got there. ( we had previously stayed in 3 other rooms there which were all great) Tsepho kindly arranged for us to stay in the penthouse for the nights which it was available so we were very grateful for that but unfortunately we had to move back to the original room for our last night.

For our last night we stayed in the original booked room. There was no fridge, bathroom was tiny and the room just didn't have the same open feeling as the rest of the accommodation that we are used to at this beautiful venue. Will definitely return as we love the place but a bit of attention is needed in that particular room.

Fantastic location “on the beach” with morning surfers out front. Staff were amazing, Tsepho was a star. Nice and clean and comfortable, lovely breakfasts. Brilliant idea with the honesty bar too.

In the UK we are used to double glazing and very good window sealing, understandably this is not needed in SA so fair enough. (Was a bit noisy when it got windy) We would have liked the blinds to have kept out more light, or perhaps curtains (security lights are on all night) - but again we have blackout blonds and curtains at home as we are light sleepers so this wouldn’t be an issue for most probably.

Literally on the beach ! And so out and then lovely walks either into town or just browsing . There are some very good restaurants around but booking appeared essential : service overall very friendly / helpful and breakfast had a good choice. Guess the accommodation was a bit rustic. But clean and functional and certainly not expensive : a shower door would have been good in our room instead of a clothes screen. Maybe not feasible : Jeffrey’s bay was busy and a good atmosphere . A good place to stop en route for a couple of nights.

Everything was more than expected. The larger room had a full small kitchen and we could cook. There was also a gas grill to braai (BBQ). Rooms were serviced daily and breakfast was included. Breakfast was very good. Fresh fruit, smoothies and much more. The site has a bar available if you want a sunset drink :-) The personnel was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful. They gave guidance and recommendations for restaurants and activities. Laundry services were very efficient. Rooms serviced daily and bottled water was provided. Thank you to the Team at "On the Beach Guesthouse", for making this a exceptional and memorable vacation!!!

Everything was fantastic!!!

Views and proximity to beach was amazing. Room was large and spacious, very posh! All clean. The bed was large, super comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Communal BAR with honesty tab was so cool and lovely large lounge with seating areas, outside decking, tv, games. Breakfast was to die for - honestly the BEST BREAKFAST ever had.

On first night the shower cut out and we had no hot water. Second visit my order was taken wrong and I had to go to an activity so wasn't time to correct the order - I was gutted as the breakfast on day 1 was incredible. Wifi in the room on night 2 was poor.

The attention to detail was excellent in every way, especially the fixtures and fittings, layout and the way we received a WhatsApp on arrival providing us with all the necessary information eg suggested restaurants, WiFi and security codes., you can tell everything is well thought through. Finally a great location with great ambience, we will be back.

The location is incredible, just what we wanted. We also loved the honour system you have going for the bar. It’s a game changer. Lovely breakfasts too!!! Well done and keep up the great work

amazing location! Beautiful stunning room !! views of the beach out of this world !!! the bath and shower amazing as is the bathroom. the bed was huge and so comfy.

the only thing we DID NOT like, was next door have to walk past/through your balcony to get out of there room so there is no real privacy (one giant balcony is basically shared with 3-4 other rooms) if you wanna chill with the balcony doors open you run the risk of being disturbed all the time by people walking past your room. because of this I would not stay in that room again.

I loved the location, right in front of Jeffreys Beach, with a stunning view and direct access. The room had great lighting. Great self-service setup, where a sense of shared trust exists.

The room was a bit cluttered, with too many decorative elements, and the balcony was located near the bathroom area. The breakfast was also a bit slow.

The location overlooking the beach was great and the bar and restaurant area upstairs were lovely Was great to be able to access the beach directly and to be able to walk down to the main beach and restaurants

Room was nice and spacious but was a bit dark lacking natural light Other guests walking in front of the bedroom windows to get to main reception
