Stunning location overlooking the estuary. Friendly welcome (once we found reception). Comfortable, spacious room with balcony and the experience of sleeping under a thatched roof. Very good breakfast shared with fellow guests in a sociable atmosphere. We enjoyed paddling round the canals and estuary in the owner's kayak, which is available for guests to use. In fact, this is the reason we chose this accommodation and chose to stay two nights.

It's far from clear where you're meant to check in. A sign pointing to reception would put an end to the confusion for new arrivals. In fact, you need to continue to the corner and turn right into the cul-de-sac (also named Shore Road). Parking is in front of the property on the grass verge.

Had a wonderful 3 nights at I-lollo lodge and would highly recommend staying here. The seaview rooms are a must as the scenery from your bed is beautiful. Fresh rusks every morning in your room with a very tasty breakfast. Electric blankets for the cooler evenings and the beds are super comfy. Everything was excellent and we had a awesome stay. Planning on returning very soon!

We have just stayed at the i- Lollo bed and breakfast and it was a beautiful stay. The room was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed, including the bonus of a lovely big bath! The room had an exposed thatched roof which was nice and unique. Ann the host was very attentive and kind and made a lovely breakfast both mornings including both cold (yoghurt/granola/fruit) and hot (eggs/bacon/mushrooms/toast etc) option. The property was only a short drive from the shops/restaurants that St Francis has to offer. We didnt personally attempt to walk due to the weather we had, but there were restaurants within walking distance.

The location and views over the estuary from the upstairs rooms we stayed in were stunning. The rooms were very comfortable and exceptionally clean and we had a delicious breakfast. Ann was a fabulous host and also organised our afternoon boat cruise on the canals. We had a wonderful stay and will return.

There wasn't anything that we did not like. We were very happy with our stay.

The view was beyond perfect and it’s quite a small town so getting around was easy. The breakfast was good, the best bacon in the world. I can’t believe how good it was The bed was also very comfortable.

Not the property but the town doesn’t have working street lights so be aware of that.

Ann, the host, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Her attention to detail and warm hospitality added to the overall experience. Awesome position. Awesome views of the river, river mouth and ocean. Lovely walks along the river and we watched the kite surfers from the verandah. Room was clean and comfortable with a good size bathroom.

Desk/workspace in room would have been useful.

We had a wonderful stay at the i-LOLLO Lodge. The position of the lodge was superb, the room was large and very comfortable with its own balcony, the breakfast was excellent and the hosts were the most charming people you could wish to meet. We'd be very happy to come back in the future; I only wish we'd stayed longer this time !

The property is clean and beautiful.

Not many options for breakfast you eat the same thing daily. Guests nof allowed to use iron in the rooms. Not allowed to warm own food without permission. You pay R100 to use washer.

Loved the location and the cleanliness of the unit.

My only issue with room no 2 was the lack of privacy between our accommodation and the main house. There is a stairwell running up directly into Unit 2 from the main house with just a folding screen at the top of the stairs. In the morning we could hear other residents talking whilst having their breakfast. We could hear the owners talking plus could hear the dishes being washed in their kitchen. We felt a little uncomfortable in that if we could hear them they could hear us.
