Second time staying here. Breakfast is fine, good coffe, fresh bread, variation of eggs, hams and cheeses, lovely dining area, etc. Room was cozy. Close to center, nice green areas, parks, small shops, restaurants and cafes. Personnel was amazing, I am definitely coming back :)

Breakfast could be more variable, I would appreciate more veggies (raw or roasted), smocked salmon, etc for the price. Except that small detail, everything was perfect!

The location next to the castle is of course fantastic but what i pressed me the most was the lady (Sandra?) at check-in: she knew i was arriving at 10 pm, after an intercontinental flight with a delay from Disseldorf airport so she just took me to my room saying “you must be very jet-lagged so don’t worry about the check-in: we’ll leave the paperwork till tomorrow morning. Have a good night, Sir” This was the smoothest and most perfect check-in I ever experienced, still grateful about her understanding of a traveler’s needs! And also a great breakfast on the terrace with excellent service 👍

Professional run hotel. Staff is outstanding and very helpful.

The hotel restaurant and bar service is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays! Not very attractive for staying there during those days. Rooms on top floor are attic loft style and not fit for elderly people. There are very steep stairs in the room to reach the loft! On top ventilation is absolutely a disaster and a severe heat builds up in the loft.

Everything. Not the 1st time here, so we knew what to expect. Superb all-around facilities and staff. Unfortunately, I was taken ill during my stay and had to cancel our second night. The reaction and subsequent action, by the manager, to my circumstances, could not have been bettered. He is superb employee and I add my personal thanks for all that he did for my wife and I. See you next year.

Breakfast was great, everything was available, enjoyable and tasty.

Room locations not clear, if coming in through night door (No reception after 5pm) maybe a map to show NEW visitors where their room is located within the complex?

Characterful property run by very friendly staff.. We had a very tasty supper in the hotel sat on the veranda in the evening sun which was very romantic. Also had a great breakfast. Given a lovely pot of local honey on departure.. Many thanks for a memorable stay.

Nothing

This is a lovely family-run hotel that really looks after you during your stay. It is an older hotel (some of it is within the old castle building) and is very comfortable with great views. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

The breakfast was excellent. Those who are travelling allergies, they also had a lot of choice. We had a beautiful spacious clean room. The receptionist was very kind and gave us lot of information.

Cozy building that really feels like going back in time. Personnel was super friendly. Food was great.

Maybe to upgrade a bit the facilities without losing the charm of the old style
