Unexpectedly good room, very clean and easily adjusted AC

I don’t know the receptionist’s name but firstly he tried to overcharge us by initially asking for 10% more than the price quoted to me by Booking.Com. Finally he relented when I was writing a complaint to Booking. Then he provided us with a 500-rupee-cheaper taxi than the one I’d found to take us to Kerala, after me asking twice if the price included the interstate tax. Both times he confirmed that and asked for a tip for saving us 500 rupees . We gave him 200. Later when we crossed the state line the taxi driver made us pay the interstate tax of 500 rupees!!! So beware of this smooth talking receptionist who seemed so helpful

Comfortable and clean. AC could have made it more comfortable but the rates just for that were quite high in my opinion, but we still had a nice stay. All clean. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Upon arrival, the first impression was a bit off, but it really didn’t reflect the rest and we would totally book this place again

Location is fantastic. Walkable to the Sri Krishna Matha. People at the reception are very helpful Hotel is clean. Rooms are big. Lots of food available within 100 meters

Practically nothing.

There was no break fast and Location is problematic for google..

I booked the A C rooms through booking . Com for two days for Rs.3865 each for two days..But at the time of check in reception said that your booking is of non A C rooms..He arranged to give me A.C.Rooms with additional amount ..that is Rs.5000 per room for two days...ABit confusion in mind regarding this...

All the facilities are very nice...room is nice...location wise it's great as it is at a prime location...all the tourist places and restaurants are quite close... It is worth visiting again...

Car parking was one of the issues...as it was in the basement... The lift is also quite small...it was quite challenging to manage...will see next time...

The rooms were neat and clean, comfortable stay. Location is close to the Udupi Krishna temple, right next to old bus stand.. lot of places to eat around.. The hotel was good, the room was spacious, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, good AC, overall good hotel...

Parking was an issue.. though there is basement parking, it is very small..

The welcome in Janardana was very friendly and professional. The hotel and the room were the cleanest one we had in India. And we know a lot of hotels in India. The service was also great. It felt very good to stay there. To the Udupi temple komplex it is just a short walk. And the nice Triveni Restaurant is even closer. You will enjoy your stay!

Great location. Temple is hardly 5 mins walking distance. Bus stand is nearby. A few nice restaurants and shopping places in proximity. Room was nice. Staff is well behaved and cooperative.

Nice hotel at the price of a lodge.located at walking distance to the mandir, restaurants around. Neat and clean rooms and bathroom.Comfortable bed. Good service,i ordered the morning tea and got it fast. I will stay again when I visit Udupi.

Nothing specific,but the reception person can be a bit more welcoming! A smile doesn't cost anything but goes a long way in the hospitality industry. Would greatly appreciate a tea maker kettle.

Close proximity to city centre..Reception staff very attentive & room service always available & extremely friendly & efficient.
