The staff is very friendly. We requested for croissants for breakfast and the staff can already arrange the next day. The location is beautiful with a good snowy view. And it is closer to Hallstatt if in case you want to travel there.

Our room is located next to the high way and feels a bit noisy. My daughters said fine but I feel too noisy. The breakfast starts at 8am only in December. It would mean the day light time for visiting the tourist places will be less.

Restuarant of guesthouse was closed during my visit. No luggage rack in bedroom. Only 1 small Pillow . Winter duvet too hot for summer.

Gasthof Alte Tanne is a very nice ,family operated small hotel. I understand that all family members are working either at reception or at restaurant. Surrounding landscape is excellent. If you like the balcony with an excellent mountain view ,it is a very appropriate place to taste your vine while watching the green view. Breakfast was good enough for that size of a hotel. There are few discount shops next to the hotel. You can make shopping for your daily needs without any rush.

Great family friendly hotel. Very homey feeling with a very friendly and authentic host, where you can really relax and unwind. The suite room was comfortable, spacious and the bathroom well equipped for seniors. The view from that room was amazing. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast and were treated with delicious homemade jam and apple pie. The location was great as well. Only 20min away from Salzburg by car and across from a grocery store. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel with restaurants which will greatly serve you at breakfast or any time of the day, great food, great people working there, love the location as you have to walk or drive just a while and you are surrounded by nature and lake :))) might come back

Location is a little far from things, but we got around by the bus which was perfectly fine!

Everything was perfect. The owners are very accommodating and hospitable. The location of accommodation was good. We had very nice time there. The nature is beautiful around.
