Great location in the old town, amazing view. Nice room extra spacious, great amenities, very clean. Very good bed. Nice breakfast available. Very friendly and helpful staff.

One issue was that the hotel entrance it’s from a side door beside the restaurant but no sign on it saying it’s the hotel entrance. And being Saturday late afternoon and the hotel restaurant was not open, had a hard time knowing where to enter. So we had to ask around. Once we saw the emergency phone numbers posted on the restaurant door, we made contact with a hotel staff member. I little sign would be very helpful on the door.

The day we arrived, Sisteron was having a Venetian celebration, with a walking procession of people in full venetian costume through the town. The hotel's parking area (which is a public car park I believe, was closed, and housed an Italian market. We rode into it not realising this and were told very brusquely by market stall holders to go away. Thankfully a member of the hotel staff arrived and said we could park in an area just beyond the car park. The rooms looked out over the busy street, and before long the very beautiful and colourful (and slightly spooky) walking procession arrived, which was interesting, and the hotel window gave us a unique aerial view. Overall the hotel was good, staff friendly, and the location excellent. The Citadel was visible from the hotel room too.

Advance information about the parking would have been helpful. The hotel had taken payment a month previously and then said we had not paid. I had proof of the payment with me and this was accepted with good humour and an apology.

Location was amazing. Very easy to come and go through the side door of the hotel. Very much in the heart of the city - close to restaurants and shops.

Very loud. The car tunnel acts like a megaphone so the traffic noise was very loud. Loud party people in the street until 2 am and then 4 am the delivery trucks and rubbish collection trucks keep us awake. Very bright street light outside the hotel room which doesn't turn off until around 1 am. It was an extremely hot weekend - no air-conditioning or fans.

We chose one of the spa rooms to ensure we had a view of the rock, which was spectacular, especially at night. We were in the room furthest from the rock, but that had the bonus of a view of the citadel and the street below, where there was a street festival the night we stayed. The room was comfortable and the facilities generally worked well. The man who greeted us was cheery and had a real twinkle in his eye. He was fine for us to leave our bags at reception while we went to and from our car. We had dinner at the restaurant, which was fine, but best for the view of the rock. It would have been lovely to have eaten outdoors, but it was far too windy the night we stayed.

Parking was a nightmare when we arrived, probably due to the festival. The following morning there were a couple of places available out front, which might be more usual. The jacuzzi was quite annoying as half of it was taken up with a cascade that splashed our faces and couldn't be turned off no matter what we did. The lift is tiny and wasn't available when we left (maintenance, we think).

Superb location overlooking the Rock of Baumé and the Citadelle which were all lit up at night. Lovely gentleman checked me in and securely stored by bicycle. The room was huge and even had a small kitchenette. Shower was nice and warm. Bed was comfortable. My room looked up to the Citadelle. Breakfast was okay, the usual croissant, bread, jams, cakes, orange juice, coffee etc.

Nothing at all. Was ever so slightly overpriced. The window in my room didn’t close fully. There was a gap down one side but didn’t affect my stay.

I booked the hotel for its location then I asked for a room with the balcony the view over the Durance River in Sisteron. I had what I asked for from the beginning. Staff were very professional, courteous, nice and helpful. Breakfast was good and everywhere were nice and clean. My son and I were very happy with our choice.

Toilet was very tiny otherwise everything were good for a 3 star hotel. That hotel could be a 5 star hotel with its unique location !
