Hubs and I were making a trip from Arizona to San Antonio. I booked this room blindly online. Honestly, it was the most reasonable priced hotel in this cute little town. I knew we would just be sleeping, so I figured, what could it hurt? I was impressed. When we checked in, the staff was so nice and friendly. The room was clean, and the bed was comfy. The room worked perfectly for what we needed. There's even a yummy Indian food truck ( Tandoori ) next to the property if you're hungry. This will definitely be our stop for a room any time we are driving through.

Surprised at good quality of room for money. Bed mattress was good especially compared with most rooms that I stay in. Bathroom was updated and clean. Furnishings were good enough. Everything was fine. Also, I take a power cord strip with me on trips because many older hotels rarely have enough outlets. This hotel already had one. I pass through Fort Stockton once a year. I will stay at this hotel in the future. Wish I found it earlier.

I don't like carpet in hotels. This one had decent carpet, but I'd prefer it didn't. Minor quibble because I wear flip flops in rooms anyway and I'd stay here again. Also, hotel is off the main strip so can be loud. Get a room near the back.

Room was large and very clean. Bed was quite comfortable. It had all the amenities I would expect in a somewhat more expensive accommodation: TV with good cable, good sized refrigerator and microwave.

Location was at the far side of town and not near much of anything. Air Con/Heater was hard to figure out and I had to call the front desk for instructions. The soap dispenser in the shower did not have any soap in it. One of the lights didn't appear to work (turned out it was attached to a power strip that was turned off. These were all pretty minor annoyances, so overall a very stay room for the price.

This is my 7th stay at this modest gem in the past year, and each time I have been rewarded with a clean, comfortable room. Sure, there's no swimming pool or exercise center or breakfast or fancy lobby, but who cares, this place is an amazing value. Will be sure to stay again when I take this trip again.

Minor, minor things... a high step into the room that I need to watch entering or exiting. No indication of the cost of a can of Pepsi on the pop machine ($1.50.) The flickering lamp outside my room last visit has been replaced.

This is a very low cost hotel. Compared to others in the price range in Fort Stockton, it is very clean. You can't beat the value. I will definitely stay here the next time I am in town. Just remember, it won't be as luxurious as a higher priced hotel. I found the bed comfortable and the room very clean. That's what I want in a room.

No overlock on door(chain etc), no phone, Towels were terrible ... Clean but small and like cardboard

Even though this is an older motel, The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The heat/air worked great.

I didn’t like that there was only one wash cloth. There were 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels. I was already undressed and too far to walk to office for another. When I went yo check out, the office was locked and only a key drop box. So no one to tell. I’ll be back again though. It was great value and clean.

Very pleasant, quiet, comfortable room. I like the color of the walls -- a soothing deep green. Bathroom features very good. I liked the dispensers for soap/shampoo rather than wasteful individual packages that end up in the landfill. Heat/AC work well. The staffpeople I deal with in my several visits were each extremely pleasant and helpful. I requested a "quiet room" away from the main road and was given such a room. This is the only place I stay when I'm in Fort Stockton.

On one visit, the TV didn't work but that was taken care of by manager.

Everything! I have been hotel jumping from city to city and was really skeptical. I only booked one night even though I knew O would be in the area longer and was happy with the location. I wish I could stay longer. Facility is cute, parking is right outside your door, the site has a laundry area and all vending machines and oce machine work. Rooms look well cared for. Everything was clean, no bugs.

I had no issues with the friendly, kind lady at the front desk. The room and bathroom both were very clean and the bed was comfortable. I live in a very rural area and am not used to any traffic noise, which is inevitable when the location is on a business route. The hot shower was good. We were able to park our car right in front of the door.
