It was a truly special stay for us – the staff there is incredibly friendly and helpful. They really managed to fulfill all our wishes. We were given a beautiful room with a view of the Brooklyn Bridge – such a treat! The bathroom was spacious and full of light, and overall the rooms are quite large for New York standards. Even with our four suitcases, we had plenty of space. We had never stayed in the Seaport area before, and we absolutely loved it – you’re quickly over the bridge in Dumbo, but also just a short walk away from so many great neighborhoods in Manhattan. And right outside the hotel, you’ll find amazing restaurants as well. The hotel has a lot of charm thanks to its interior design and furnishings – there’s a subtle nautical feel to it, which adds to its character. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel.

The hotel is located in a quiet and picturesque neighbourhood, facing Brooklyn bridge and the financial district's skyline. Both the common areas of the hotel and our room were elegantly decorated and spotlessly clean. The staff was polite and professional.The room was very spacious compared to other options in Manhattan, with a very nice view and a perfectly designed bathroom, both in terms of practicality and aesthetics. The bathroom amenities were of excellent quality as well. The complimentary do-it-yourself coffee/herbal tea, refilled every day, was a warm plus. The lounge area was bright and sunny, and so were both bars of the hotel. The in-house restaurant is a perfect choice for when one is too tired to go out. Overall, our stay at 33 Hotel exceeded our expectations and we'll definitely be back.

Just some minor details that could raise even more the level of experience satisfaction. We didn't like the guarantee deposit, nor did we read it in booking details. The checking-in procedure was anything but welcoming and some of the hotel staff were not very friendly. The heating system in the room was quite noisy and could be updated. The mattresses as well seemed to be overused and could be replaced. Still and sparkling water in the room could be free of charge all days, given the price paid for the room.

No one helped or tried to help when I arrived at the hotel at night with my bags ( I had a couple of them!) Same thing when I checked out in the morning, I had many bags, and I even asked for help, but no one there !!? I don't usually expect the hotel to help with my bags, but I expect the professional and curtesy when you see a customer struggling with pushing his bags.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The room was large and clean with a nice spacious bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The fitness center was small but spotless and nicely stocked with water bottles and towels at each machine. The experience felt luxurious.

There were some housekeeping issues. The room wasn't ready at check-in time of 3pm (we were told that they were still restocking the minibar). On another day, housekeeping wasn't able to clean my room when requested due to them being short-staffed. Water bottles were not restocked when my room was cleaned. At check-in, our minibar had an already opened and mostly empty bottle of vodka. At checkout, we were informed that there was a minibar charge for a diet Coke that we had never drank (we didn't touch the minibar), however this was quickly removed when we pointed that out. Blackout curtains didn't extend all the way to the edges of the windows, so I was woken up by the sunlight every night. My room was a little loud at night at times due to being close to the street.

Such a lovely hotel in a quieter part of the city; the area has a cool vibe, with a good selection of restaurants around South St Seaport & Pier 17 - a lot less commercial and touristy compared to other parts of NYC! The hotel itself was very comfortable, super friendly staff and a spacious room - their French toast is one of the best!! I had a great stay and would definitely recommend 33 Seaport.

An excellent hotel with a stunning view of the Brooklyn Bridge. We had a room with windows facing directly toward the bridge. Next time, I’ll definitely choose a room with a terrace to enjoy sunset outdoors with a glass of wine and beautiful view of the Brooklyn Bridge. From the very first moments, we felt genuine care everyone from the front desk to the bellboy created a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff was top-notch: polite, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The service reminded us of the best European hotels something thats rare to find these days. Housekeeping was daily and of very high quality. It’s a great feeling when you know people truly care about your comfort.

The Urban Cove restaurant offered a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff, though the service was slow even when the dining room was nearly empty. The menu felt a bit unusual and not the most universally appealing - perhaps more tailored to gourmets, but of course, that’s a matter of personal taste. Given the restaurant’s drink offerings, it would be lovely to see some tapas-style sharing plates on the menu - dishes that pair well with wine or cocktails and help create a relaxed, social evening with a view of the city.

Perfect location, decent sized rooms for Manhattan.

We had booked a room with a terrace. However at the time we were staying, there was maintenance being completed on the roof of the building. There was scaffolding set up right in front of our room which blocked the view of Brooklyn bridge entirely from our rooms window and half of the view from our terrace. The reason we booked the terrace room was so we could have a full view of Brooklyn bridge. I understand that maintenance needs to be completed, but it would have been nice to be informed of this before we checked in or had some kind of compensation. Other than that it was great.

Everything. I think the new owners/management has done a great job. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Good breakfast and very polite staff. I would definitely come back.

They should change the windows for ones that better isolate external noise.

No tea or coffee machine in the room

Location is excellent for exploring Manhattan and Brooklyn, within 20 or 30 minutes of most places a tourist would want to go. Fulton station is a 5-10min walk and will get you into most major subway lines. The Seaport area is significantly quieter than central tourism areas but still very appealing part of the city, with quaint cobbled streets and a good selection of restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is quiet and the lounge, bar and rooms are very well presented. Overall the hotel has quite has a boutique feel and you really know you aren’t in a giant chain hotel.

We didn’t pay the £ premium for a street side room with a view of the road as a courtyard view was cheaper, quieter and you don’t visit New York to look out the hotel window. Internal courtyard is just some air conditioners and doesn’t let much light in on lower floors. Ultimately it didn’t bother us, but won’t suit everyone. There is no such thing as a cheap stay in NY, we felt the price we paid was fair, perhaps not a bargain. We didn’t opt into breakfast due to the price, but there are plenty of options at various price points in the local area. The only real issue we had during our stay was our room being left open by housekeeping one day but, this reported to reception who apologised and we felt it was a genuine mistake.
