Our recent stay at Terrakotta Rishikesh was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were enveloped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, largely thanks to the amazing staff. Their friendliness and willingness to help truly set this hotel apart for us. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. Every request was met with a smile and prompt attention, making us feel incredibly well taken care of. A special thank you to Pankaj at the front desk, whose efficiency and genuine helpfulness were truly appreciated by us. He went above and beyond to ensure our check-in and any inquiries were handled smoothly and with a personal touch. The positive experience extended to the dining room staff as well. Their attentiveness and warm demeanor made every meal a pleasure for us. They were always ready with a suggestion and ensured a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience for us. Beyond the outstanding service, the hotel boasts great food. The meals were delicious, with a variety of options to satisfy different palates. It was evident that care and quality went into the preparation of each dish that we enjoyed. The rooms were impeccably clean. It's always a relief to find a well-maintained and spotless environment, and Terrakotta Rishikesh certainly delivered on this front for us. The cleanliness contributed significantly to a comfortable and relaxing stay for us. Terrakotta Rishikesh offers a truly wonderful experience for us. We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel – so much so that we chose to stay here twice in a row. The hotel is new, spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and incredibly cozy. All the textiles are locally made and tastefully chosen, adding a unique charm to the space. The staff is exceptionally kind and responsive, always going out of their way to solve any issue quickly and efficiently. One remarkable example: after we left the hotel, we realized we had forgotten our headphones in a taxi arranged by the hotel. We contacted the staff, and they not only tracked them down but also had them delivered to our next hotel. The breakfasts are delicious, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the location is perfect—just a short walk from the sacred Ganges River. This is truly our favorite hotel in Rishikesh, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to our friends.

The property is absolutely worth the money and the king room with balcony we booked for 3 people was quite spacious. The room was well maintained, very clean and the best part of this property is that the staff is very sweet, kind, accommodating, helpful and friendly. They really go out of their way to meet your requests. With the help of the staff my friends could plan a little surprise for me by decorating the room on the occasion of my birthday.

Reaching the property is a bit tricky as the lane is very narrow but the hotel staff guides you very well and even provides an escort so its fine.

Terrakotta's hospitality standard is very high, the reception staff (especially Pankaj) was helpful through Whatsapp messaging about the airport taxi service before I arrived (its worth it, so taxi can bring you directly to Terrakotta!). The included breakfast is extensive in western and Indian food choices—and includes espresso coffee! The location is a few minutes walk to the Ganges and to Laxman Jhula (hopefully the bridge will reopen soon!). The twin room I chose (101) was the most affordable option and I loved that room—quiet even though it's the closest room to reception, no shared walls, bathroom is amazingly tiled and hot shower works perfect. The bigger rooms must also be gorgeous! Terrakotta hotel is adjacent to the larger, more expensive Antalya Hotel but I prefer Terrakotta!

I have no real complaints, I will be back to Terrakotta!

The location is good, the room was very spacious with a modern clean bathroom and a balcony. Not all rooms have balconies but there are shared terraces for those rooms. The one with balcony is right at the elevator if you are noise sensitive. Breakfast is very good with many options but completely vegetarian. Their room service is the fastest in the world and the food is very good and well priced. Staff are friendly and very accommodating.

There is a lot of construction all around with grinding well into the night. The new buildings are very close and will eventually block all your view of the mountain. This is of course not the hotel’s fault.

very good spread, staff went out of their way to make our short stay memorable. Pankaj at the reception was of great help and so were the wait staff at the cafe. We were served with a local drink of the buransh flower on arrival...rhododendron which we quite liked. Nice terrace with gorgeous views of the river where you could hang out or practice yoga.

lot of construction and dust if you open the balcony, not the hotel's fault...there is simply a lot of construction going on in rishikesh. Access to hotel thru a thin lane...but hotel staff help you out and there is a parking space for cars near the hotel.

Excellent hotel with great service! I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and cozy, with thoughtful details for maximum comfort. The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast is delicious and varied, and the hotel’s location is very convenient – everything you need is close by. I especially loved the warm atmosphere – you truly feel like a valued guest here. I will definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality stay!

The rooms are well-appointed and comfortable. A/c, tea kettle (and teas) and toiletries are included. The dishes at the restaurant are some of the best in Tapovan. They have a trained chef and each dish has a unique flavor; it's clear the ingredients are high quality, so not only delicious but also healthier. Even if you don't stay here it's worth to go for a meal there. The yoga space is open to use when guests want. Good location.

My room faced the construction of the new building (almost all rooms on the riverside do). The building is so close I could not open the curtains or else be face to face with construction workers. The hotel staff didn't hesitate when I asked to move rooms; the other side overlooks the parking lot or to another building. There is a lot of construction going on these days in Tapovan so many places are affected.

We loved the Terrakotta Rishikesh. We booked a king room with balcony on the 3rd floor. The corner room was huge with a view of the mountains and a breathtaking view of Maa Ganga. The breakfast was fantastic, with a great selection of both Western and Indian dishes. I especially loved the fresh parathas they kindly prepared on request. The front desk and restaurant staff were exceptional; attentive, friendly, and always eager to assist. This was our best stay in India, and we would absolutely stay here again.

Friendly service and staff team who were always helpful, accommodating and willing to go the extra mile to help. Great location near the Ganga to be able to walk to and experience, as well as the ease of access to the Ashrams, restaurants and local sites. Fabulous food and breakfasts were delicious with freshly made dosha and omelettes offered as well as a full range of Indian and European dishes, brilliant restaurant staff always warm and welcoming.

As there are such great resources in the hotel, maybe on arrival the team could direct to the yoga shala and roof terrace. For the future maybe some more twin rooms with balconies
