Very nice and beautiful inn which I would happily return to. It is right on the river and very quiet, with a beautiful lawn just outside the room. We loved seeing the deer! Penny the owner was super nice. Overall we had the impression that the place is well-cared for and managed with love.

we could not figure out whether our room would be made up during our stay. It turned out that it was not - I would have liked to know this beforehand. The wifi was a little bit slow, which unfortunately affected the functioning of the tv.

No meals. Location was unbeatable: entertaining geese and goslings, rapidly flowing musical river less than 100 feet from our door and visible upriver from our door, stately trees, grassy grounds with scattered Adirondack chairs, no noise except that provided by nature.

Wanted finer trim work in the bathroom. Honestly all we wanted was a comfy chair by the window for all the reading we do.

The staff was great, we had a beautiful view of the river. We were there in the off season (beginning of Spring) so we almost had the place to ourselves! They let us borrow bikes to get into town which was fun. Loved being close enough to town to ride a bike but far enough away for privacy

Everything was great! Rooms had a cozy cabin feel, everything you needed to be comfortable.

The owners are doing a great job upgrading the property. It could be a fantastic resort destination. As it is, it is comfortable and very much pet friendly, relaxing, by the river. One of the best locations in Winthrop for pet friendly lodging. New beds are super comfortable. If the owners keep at it, this could be a super go-to location for a resort location with restaurant (not there yet), bar (not there yet) and a place for events (not ready yet). But now as it is, for a week or a few days, a great relaxing stay.

They need to fix a few things. Ice availability, a little bit of plumbing issues in our room. All of that will get done. They are working on it,

It was cozy with a pleasant, natural view from the big sliding door.

Better lighting on the path to the room and the porch. I had to use my flashlight to unlock because the porch light was so dim. If you don't want the light shining on the neighbors, you could put a timed motion sensor.

Mom and Pop run motel/inn. Surrounding wonderful. A/C worked. Right along the river. Coffee and cocoa in room. Large fridge.

Limited parking. Curtains to big sliding glass door don't fully close, so have to dress in bathroom. Outlets are loose.

The location by the river was very quiet, cool and green. I liked the hammocks. The flower beds around the buildings were very pretty. The room had a real coffee maker and real coffee - so much better than the usual motel in-room coffee.

It would be nice if the room had one or two comfortable chairs.

Owners were so friendly and helpful! The location is super quiet, right on the river, yet close to all the town amenities. The cabin was so cozy and comfortable for my winter stay. I bet it is perfect for summer too!

The space was lovely. Only sound heard was the river. Lovely open property. Plenty of room to run off the wiggles. Board games were available for family use. Kitchenette was just right. With sink and dishes.

New photos would be helpful, everything was a lot nicer than it looked on the site! Very nice, spacious room, ni e area in back on the river, beautiful views!

The bed was pretty hard, my hips hurt. Pillow top mattress covers would be super nice. Need to be sure to clean behind the bathroom doors 😉
