This is a beautiful well kept secret. It’s out of the way, so nice and quiet, but easy to walk to downtown Winthrop. We chose the Raven A room in case the weather was inclement, but even when the weather was good, we couldn’t wait to get back and enjoy watching the deer from our balcony where we ate breakfast and dinner. It is such a comfortable beautiful well decorated clean room with a huge bathroom. We met the owner in the afternoons who advised us on great walks and every time we saw her, she asked if there’s anything we needed, which, of course, there wasn’t.

The attention to details with thick towels and great quality sheets and bedding. My room was 5+ clean! The products they supply; shampoo, conditioner, and soap are a nice quality as well. Many channels to select from via the cable options, they also have movies in the lobby. The managers/owners have thought of everything to make your stay very comfortable. Nice size ice box/freezer with the frig, Good coffee offered with the small coffee maker in the room. Excellent air conditioning that is quiet!

There was not a view, but for the price point, the room was an excellent value.

Adorable "Old West" themed town. Mt. Gardner Inn looks like a row of bunkhouses from the outside, but the rooms are modern. The bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is very spacious. There are plenty of places you charge all your digital devices, and the wifi is password protected. If I return to the area, I will stay here again

We have stayed at this property several times. It is an amazing place. The rooms are elegantly furnished, all comforts are thought of by the owners. It's situated in scenic Winthrop Washington, small town, lovely weather and beautiful scenery. It's a very romantic property and I recommend the upper Raven ridge suite.

Beautiful property. We were greeted by curious deer near the entrance to our room. Our room was beyond exceptional. A beautiful view, comfy bed and huge oversized bath. The kitchenette had everything we needed. There was a cozy couch, fireplace and balcony. I can safely say this is the most wonderful place we have ever stayed! Definitely hope to go back for another stay.

Absolutely nothing. It’s perfect!

Room and bed were comfy. We appreciate Kate’s being able to top up our plug in hybrid in our parking spot (we brought our own extension cord but didn’t need it as for our room (#1) the power outlet was right next to the car. We also appreciated the extras available in the common room/lobby (toasters, electric kettle, picnic ware, mugs, silverware, extra coffee, creamer, ice). We even used the room w couch and chairs for a game night with our friends. The hosts were very responsive via texting.

Mt Gardner Inn is located in walking distance to the town center and nordic trails. Because the main house is set back from the Highway, it is very quiet and car noise was not an issue.

If you stay in one of the downstairs units and are a light sleeper, we recommend bringing ear plugs. As with most wooden structures, the noise from upstairs carries.

Location was fantastic for exploring the North Cascades area. The room was probably the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Not a single scuff mark on the walls or spot of dust. Impressive! We were concerned about noise having a room facing the road, but the room came with a white noise machine and it was actually much more quiet than we anticipated. Beds and pillows were very comfortable as well.

The room itself was very nice! The balcony porch was a nice addition. Had a functional kitchen.

I've received approximately 20 emails/notifications from the property/booking in the period leading up to and after the stay. The number of emails/length of stay ratio seems quite excessive.

This is a little gem of a hotel. A wonderful location for our visit to the north cascades. The owners were very friendly, the room was extremely clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the proximity to downtown Winthrop.

There was nothing we did not like.
