Our 2 dinners with cocktails and wine were wonderful and we met the chefs who cooked the best (35 oz.!) sharable bone-in Ribeye any of us had ever had!.
The included Breakfast was limited and not very good/fresh with burnt croissants and cold quiche. The A/C control and thermostat for 3 rooms was housed in our room. When we arrived the Desk staff turned it off for a while saying it needed to reboot then re-start. It made noise but was completely non-cooling. Apparently this had already been a problem. After we alerted Management they put small A/C units in the windows of our rooms which cooled very well but made so much noise the quiet ambiance on our balconies was totally ruined, which is this beautiful areas greatest asset.. The dividers between room balconies needs to be beefed up for privacy and quiet as well. We felt like we were sitting with our neighbors and could hear every word of each other's conversations.

Such a great resort in a quiet, off the beaten path spot. So relaxing as a two-night stopover between Glacier and Seattle. We used the pool, hot tub, and movie room. Kudos on leaving amenities open late (seriously…places that close hot tubs before 10pm are frustrating). Breakfast was very good on our first morning (less fresh but still ok the second day). Kind staff. Great ambiance.
Our bed was crazy squeaky, to the point that any movement impacted sleep quality. I get that it’s an adult-only luxury-style resort, but dinner prices unreasonable so we drive 10 minutes into town (found very good BBQ and solid Mexican options).

The view from our room and from the common areas was absolutely gorgeous. Dinner was excellent and the highlight of our stay. It's a small but very creative menu, and they have an excellent chef. The server, who was also the bartender, was very knowledgeable. We ate in their charming and cozy pub rather than the restaurant for dinner, but the menu is the same. The continental breakfast the next morning was very good. We didn't use the sauna or the hot tub, but they looked relaxing and well-maintained. (Understandably, the swimming pool was closed for the season.) All in all a very charming place with antiques everywhere but also a comfortable, timeless vibe.
No coffee maker or mini-fridge in the room. Probably not a big deal because there appeared to be good coffee available to guests in the main lobby. In the evening, we noticed an intermittent mechanical noise in our room which impacted our sleep. We learned later that there were earplugs in our room and that the noise was the aging heating system. It may have been more pronounced in our room than in others.

The main room looking out through the huge picture window was mesmerizing. In the morning, a staff member started a fire in the fireplace, which made having my first cup of coffee quite cozy,
I believe our room could have been larger; granted, it was $275--which I am assuming is not the highest-priced room--the bathroom was small with only one shelf; the right handled "cold water" faucet was loose. The chef was absent due to unfortunate circumstances, but it was one of the reasons we were staying there. Management should have put out fruit and cheese and crackers so we could at least have a glass of wine--alcohol needs to be served with food-I believe hors' d oeuvres count. It was quite inconvenient.

Casia Lodge and Ranch is simply outstanding. It sports a plague at the entrance sharing it's one of the "small luxury hotels of the world." Well deserved. The setting couldn't be more beautiful. We loved the spaciousness, architecture, and history of Casia Lodge and Ranch. The food, by James Beard Award winning Chef Jason Wilson, is standout. Loved the balcony off our room to enjoy a glass of wine late afternoon and early morning coffee. And the bed was perfect.
Seriously there was nothing we didn't like.

Everything was delightful including the bar/restaurant staff who allowed us to eat in the front viewing room which we absolutely loved. The breakfast was simple but delicious. We enjoyed the quiche, granola, and berries. We sat on our veranda both in the evening and in the morning and enjoyed a spectacular sunset and a quiet morning. I only wished we could have stayed longer and enjoyed more of the amenities on the property including the outdoor pool, hot tub, theater and separate entertainment areas with billiards table and ping pong.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will recommend your accommodations. The only issue was that there was a large group staying at the Lodge and the breakfast buffet emptied out before we both had a chance to enjoy the quiche.

Excellent breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was first class. The lodge is very comfortable with many quiet places to enjoy the serenity of the property. Although we felt the facility was under staffed, the staff was welcoming, friendly and responsive to requests.
The facilities are beautiful but the HVAC systems need upgrading, for example our room had a noisy portable window air conditioner. With only 12 guest rooms, an investment in mini split heat pumps for each would significantly enhance the experience (it was 100 degrees during our stay). The swimming pool area and deck are very nice but could be more user friendly with covered areas to mitigate direct sun light on very hot days (at a minimum, wind resistant umbrellas). Also, the swimming pool should be cleaned more frequently. Overall, our impression was Casio Lodge can become a world class boutique hotel experience with a few upgrades and adjustments to staffing levels.

My wife and I enjoyed the property as a whole! It sits in a beautiful location, on top of a bluff with an amazing view looking towards the Cascades. The room was very comfortable and quiet. We also enjoyed the small, boutique style of the hotel. Chef Jason's food is delicious and so were the drinks from the bar!

Everything from checking in to checking out was done in a friendly manner. The staff took the time to learn our name and remembered it. We needed to change rooms due to a circumstance with another guest and the staff handled it in the MOST professional way! The food was amazing and the waitstaff went above and beyond!
Honestly there was nothing we didn’t like.

Beautiful lodge, impeccable service with a touch of ranch country elegance. Dining experience with Chef Jason, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients, was truly a delightful culinary experience. My go-to from now when heading to eastern WA. Deborah (our host) made us feel at home and cannot thank her enough for her warm hospitality. Charlie (lodge cat) was a great companion during drinks and pre bed time.
