Staff were warm, friendly and patient with me practicing my Spanish. Breakfast was nice with good selection of bread, fruits, pastries and even bacon and eggs. The food in the restaurant was excellent and we got to try lots of traditional food and there was service with a smile even when they were busy. Aircon in rooms and black out blinds meant we slept soundly every night, despite being close to reception. The pool is huge with more than ample space to relax. People coming and going at different times of the day so there was always a sunbed available to relax. Would definitely come back!

An information book in the rooms with more information about setenil, other bars/restaurants would have been nice but it was an excuse to get out and explore.

The staff were friendly - from the cafeteria, the housekeeping and the reception. The hotel is nicely located, easy to find and park. We thought the walk the Setenil centre would be further but it wasn't and we enjoyed coming back to the hotel. The hotel was obviously built in the 70s (or thereabouts) but it has been well kept and maintained so it feels clean and professional. The pool looked tempting but it was too cold for us!

As the building is older the sound insulation is not great. However, the other guests also understood this and it was not a problem - just be aware in the morning it can get busier with people in the hallway.

Very Good standard for a 2 star hotel. The room and public areas were exceptionally clean and the staff really helpful. Breakfast was absolutely excellent with a very good choice. It's about 10 mins down / 15 min back up from the Town Centre, but well worth it. Ample, free parking very close to the Hotel, so no struggling with luggage.

The bathroom was slightly dated, ( bear in mind the 2* rating)but still.immaculately clean and functional in all respects. Would have been nice to have had a hairdryer in the room.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I was travelling by motorcycle and the parking outside the hotel (in the car park) was perfectly secure. The hotel itself was lovely - great facilities and really helpfl staff in reception, in the bar and in the breakfast room. The terrace was lovely to sit out on and enjoy a cold beer after a day on the bike. The town of Setinel is only about a 15/20 minute walk away and it really is worth seeing, although not surprisingly it's very busy and very 'touristy' but worth seeing in any case. The hotel was lovely and quiet. Nice room, comfortable beds, nice staff and a very good bar and breakfast room. I'd recomend this place and wouldnt hesitate to stay if I was in that area again.

Nothing at all. It was all good and I cant think of anything that I didnt like about this hotel. I'd stay there again which is recomendation enough really.

Loved Setenil de la Bodegas and the hotel was within a 4 minute walking distance to centre and restaurants. Plenty of parking right outside. Hotel restaurant was lovely with a table outside overlooking the pool. Food was scrumptious.

Desperate need of an additional mirror! Perhaps a full length mirror behind door. The only mirror is in bathroom which is a little awkward if there's 2 of you. The wiring to the light above the mirror in the bathroom was exposed and looked quite dangerous.

We found the property easy to locate, ample parking and had an extremely warm welcome. Our room was very comfortable, tastefully decorated with minimal fuss and clutter. There was a glass bottle of water for us, we appreciated the recycling aspect to this. The bed linen was beautiful. Our room overlooked a quite magnificent pool area which was beautifully maintained, very clean, ample sun beds and and a life guard on duty. The hotel is in walking distance of Setenil, although a bit of an uphill hike on the way back. Both breakfast and evening meals were taken at the hotel with good service and good quality fare. The art work around the hotel was lovely and reflected the local area.

The pool is huge with plenty of sunbeds and towels are provided. Staff really friendly and helpful. 5 minutes walk to the centre of Setinel so a great location. Breakfast is a continental breakfast and was very good. The restaurant serves lunch and evening meals (the same menu) food was really good and prices reasonable. Had a fabulous stay at this hotel and fully plan to go back again!!

The hotel is much nicer than first impressions have you believe. Inside it's quite modern, very clean and has a nice restaurant. Staff seem very friendly too. Breakfast and dinner were of good quality and reasonable value for money. Setenil Centre is an easy 10 minute walk away.

On arrival, first impressions aren't good. It seems you are entering an abandoned construction site. Not sure exactly what's happening with the adjacent building but it's definitely an eyesore

The room was comfortable and the hotel has great restaurant downstairs - simple but delicious food. The parking is free of charge. And it's walking distance to the main natural atractions in the village.

The room was a bit dark - you should open your windows and put some light inside and than you will notice it's guite cozy. The only thing that should be change is the lighting. The warmer light will make the atmosphere more friendly.

Staff super friendly and helpful. Bar and restaurant no frills but good and great value for money. Every area was spotless clean.

Location on edge of town is walkable to the hub of everything but it is very dark and can feel just a little too isolated for walking back late at night. Nothing much the hotel can do about that to be fair.
