My only suggestion would be to improve the lighting on the reception/office sign for check-ins after dark. We felt a bit lost regarding where to go, and the app/reservation didn’t clearly outline the check-in process. If it did, I apologize for missing it; I even checked the app and the email upon our arrival. Using the phone number link provided in the reservation didn’t work, but when I manually entered the number with 0 instead of +61, it worked for me. We were initially reluctant to knock on the door, worried we might disturb another guest, but the wonderful staff guided us once we reached out.

Great set of cottages located in Avoca- easy walk to main street and playground. Overlooking the golf course. Peaceful spot. well appointed cottages with everything we needed. we were a group across 3 cottages and it worked so well as there is a large deck and bbq area where we could eat together. Each cottage was large enough to have 10 of us eat together too

Fantastic getaway country accommodation with relaxing gardens and patio deck that entices you to take in beautiful country scenery and serenity of abundant bird life. Walking distance to town, clubs and parks with plenty of options in Pyrenees Ranges of Vineyards, Sightseeing, Bushwalking activities. Absolute First Class Facility and Great Value. Do not usually post many reviews But Avoca Cottages is thoroughly worthy of praise.

There was nothing we didn’t like

Lovely location. Everything you could possibly need was provided and the cottage was very clean and comfortable. The owners were on site and were very helpful. They were particularly concerned we might be have been disturbed by a couple of larger groups in 2 of the other cottages,but there was no problem at all. I highly recommend a stay at Avoca Cottages!

Nothing….it was great!

The location was close enough to walk to the town centre. The outlook from our cottage on to a golf course at the foot of a gully was a lovely touch and very restful on eyes after a long day on the road.

Parking was ok, but the space allocated to our cottage was very small. No problems though since we could park in another spot nearby.

Very friendly host. Attending 24hour HPV event in Maryborough. Property was close enough to travel to and from to rest and recharge. Cottage had everything required and streaming channels were a bonus. Lovely quaint cottage. Would highly recommend.

A beautiful location. The accommodation is unique self-contained spacious beautifully appointed cottages with central court, barbeque and deck overlooking the publicly accessible Avoca golf course over a footbridge over the local creek with dozens of grass parrots to be seen on a walk in the mornings. Shops (milk bar, country supermarket, bakery are available in Avoca though not a lot of restaurant/take away options. Hotel was closed for Xmas break when we stayed. Best to plan ahead and not be into town too late if expecting a feed. Wineries nearby, including Blue Pyrenees, Acoca Winery and the exceptional Summerfield at Moonambel 15km away.

Stairs are the only access to the cottages.

From the start even though we arrived early we were very welcome. The place was Uber clean and the facilities inviting. Especially liked the outdoor fire pit. Close to town so an easy walk.

Was perfect for what we needed.

Beautiful bush setting for individual cottages was extremely peaceful. Roomy, beautiful bathroom with spa bath and a good kitchen. Very effective air conditioning! There is a lovely terrace with plenty of seating with barbecue overlooking the river.

The couple were extraordinarily friendly and approachable....it had been mentioned it was my birthday, and a complimentary bottle of local wine and a birthday note greeted me in the room!
