The contact less checking in is an excellent added touch. No need to remember the key and a very simple process.

The only issue was the noise of heavy vehicles passing by. Being the closest room to the road it was a little loud, but that's no fault of the accommodation.

Good location, nice and quiet, clean rooms and quite well presented. New renovated bathrooms, comfortable bed. Good lighting and TV reception was good. I liked the self check in with the electronic locks and code! Not need to bother reception as there was no one there. All good.

There was only one blanket for the bed. It wasn’t warm enough for Australian winters. I would recommend a doona. 10.00 AM checkout was a bit early and I didn’t know until the last minute. No breakfast supplied. A packet breakfast to purchase would be ideal! But no motels seem to do this in Australia.

The rooms and gardens were beautiful, well kept and clean and very close to everything. We hired 5 rooms for 5 couples and were able to check in early, each room had heating and heated sheets which was perfect for the freezing night we had. The rooms were neat and tidy and had everything required for a short stay, microwave, fridge, kettle, coffee, tea and milk. The shower pressure was amazing and hot and the towels were the best I have had at a motel, so soft, toiletries were also provided. Alber was very helpful with any enquiries we had. If you have a large group of friends wanting a beautiful place to stay this is perfect for that, there was plenty of seating for all guests in the garden and deck (in the end our large party of friends from a funeral also booked this motel) it was nice to continue this catch-up at the accommodation.

We were not aware of the rec room that was available, which was locked and unable to be used during our stay, we still enjoyed the garden area though.

The room was very clean, well priced and we had a lovely stay.

The small rocks from the driveway were easily trecked into the room, hurting barefeet inside. Perhaps consider relining with something a bit bigger. We didn't see a single member of staff. I understand that the world is heading towards contact less, but I don't think that should include human contact.

well kept clean room in a quiet area close to main local facilities with plenty of restaurants and takeawy food outlets. Room really suitable for someone or couple looking for a quiet night or more, Comfortable bed and everything works!

Didn't know what the free breakfast was about but no information in the room. But l was always going to have a laterbreakfast out anyway. Maybe a local map or other information about the area could be useful.

Really appreciated being upgraded to family room which gave us a table & chairs and it was a bigger room.

One side of the electric blanket didn’t work but my side did! 😜

Really cool place to stay, it has a great old era feel about it but has been tastefully updated with modern features without losing its charm.

WiFi wasn't great in the rooms further away from reception but they did mention they were working on fixing that issue.

I used to live in Maryborough. I spent 20 minutes on the phone with Alber who runs the motel next day. I know his family in Shepparton. I do not need this pointless survey to tell him what I thought so find Booking.com surveys a waste of time and effort. Now that I have his contact info I will not require Booking.com for future stays.

Like that you can check in any time on your own, good location, car park was under cover, had microwave, fridge, tv, toaster & split system.

Little bit dusty, particularly the carpet under the bed

I stayed at the place once before for one evening and didn't receive breakfast but did not query this. This time I purchased the particular room believing I had breakfast included. When no breakfast was produced in the morning I purchased some in the town. That evening I asked what I needed to do to get my breakfast and was informed that breakfast was not included. I mentioned it was when I booked. The gentleman asked if I booked through booking.com. He said they no longer do breakfast as most people didn't want it and it was a waste. In the room there was a booklet which stated that breakfast would be left a t the door in the morning. As I am not a person to make complaints I was very disappointed that I wasn't offered an apology and felt my question was treated in a dismissive manner.
