Happy with our room & we were upgraded as well so a bonus. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was tiny but it was very clean & though the heat for the shower took a little while to warm up, once there it was good & pressure was good. Had a microwave for warming food up if required, plates etc . It's a little distance from the main area of town, so you need to drive back into the main street (which is not a big deal), but quiet at night for sleeping. Staff were very accommodating & helpful of places to see.

Had a great stay for a long weekend getaway. Everything you want in a motel, very clean, simple, all the comfort. Include the pricing on offer and this was excellent value.

I choice this motel after looking at photos of car parking and level entry to room. Unfortunately we were in an area with step to verandah and steps into room. Being in our 80s, and my husband using a 4 wheeled walker it was harder than expected. Also the walker didn't fit between the bed and fridge on the way to bathroom. These wouldn't be a problem normally. Everything else was very good and happy with everything else.

Wattle Grove is an immaculate little place with such a friendly owner who greeted us, settled us in and waved us goodbye.This is an older style motel which has been superbly done up. It had everything we needed including space for our 3 year old grandson's many many bags. The room was exceptionally clean, bathroom was great and roomy and we had a large bench/ servery at front which held microwave, kettle etc.

We loved the area . our room was number 6 in the back overlooking the back garden 🪴 peaceful. Very clean organised and Bev was the perfect host .

Owners allowed our check in an hour early. Nice and quiet. New bathrooms and comfy bed. Room had a mini fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster along with cutlery and crockery, chopping boards and paper towel. Tea, Coffee and Sugar sachets supplied which makes convenience 10/10.

There was only 1 pillow (per person) which is probably fine for most people but it would have been nice to have the extra pillow (even just to sit in bed to watch tv) to be in a small cupboard under the microwave or something.

Heater was turned on before we arrived so the room was warm when we got there. Electric blankets on bed (but weren't needed as RC air conditioner was warm enough). Small biscuit treats along with tea and coffee etc., I hadn't seen those in a hotel/motel in a longtime. Smallish room but comfortable and clean. Good value. Accommodating staff.
