This was the second time we have stayed at this motel, had no hesitation staying again. There is a pool and I assume the only motel with a pool in Maldon. I could be wrong. They have upgraded the pool, it now has magnesium in it. On these hot days it was perfect to get into. The owners are friendly and accommodating and were able to supply lactose free milk for my intolerance, thank you so much. It’s not far from Maldon shops you could walk it if you want.

We had no issues with this property, there wasn’t anything we didn’t like. If I had to be really picky. As I’m not that tall I had trouble getting into bed. hahaha!

Beautiful gardens and surounds. There were dishes and cutlery supplied which was not expected, and were very useful. Self check-in was easy. A lovely touch was the vintage 1960's magazine in the drawer, my daughter and I had fun reading the advice column, and even found a pattern to take a photo to try out at home. Also a vintage style story book. Would love to stay in Summer to enjoy the pool and just relax.

The beds were a little soft for our liking, but we slept just fine. Also would be good to have the blinds that pull up from the bottom, to allow natural light, along with privacy. Also, don't go to Maldon until Wednesday, as most things are closed on Monday and Tuesday 😞

The location was in a quiet road. Check in was via a key safe, and the process looked easy for after-hours access, but the key was in the door for our room so we didn’t have to worry about it. The room was small, but had everything we needed, and the Victorian style bed (very comfortable) and fittings made a change from the usual motel room decor. The gardens in front of the rooms were private, and very pretty. I’d love to come back to see them in spring and summer, when they are in flower, and when you could make full use of the verandah and outdoor chairs to while away an hour or so with a cup of tea (or a glass of wine) between check in and dinner. Olivia was very helpful when she discovered we’d left something behind.

A second bedside light would have been nice for bedtime reading. Maybe a floor lamp as there’s no room for a bedside table.

The property was beautiful.. well maintained, well laid out with cars on the outside of the rooms, so we could sit at rear veranda and enjoy the lovely gardens and pool ambiance . We met the owner, Adrian who was very friendly, helpful and made us feel comfortable. We appreciated our stay and also have been back as it is a great stay and very affordable with easy access to Maldon Main Street and our fishing and gold prospecting activities. It was all good.. loved it

We loved every moment of our stay at this charming motel. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, with a warm welcome and genuine hospitality. The accommodation was impeccably clean and exuded a cozy charm. Every detail was carefully considered, from the comfortable bed to the thoughtful amenities and decorative touches. To top off the fabulous experience, the motel is located in enchanting beautiful gardens. We can't wait to go back.

The main room was large with a double and a single slat bed which were firm but comfortable with crisp, clean linen and four pillows. There was a small kitchenette area which Nepean adequate. The bathroom had a toilet and bath/ shower with great hot water and very private. The owner greeted us warmly as he was working hard in the garden and was informative. The grounds were lovely. It was a hot and dry weekend and my wife and I were very grateful for the salt and chlorine pool which was clean and cool.

Lovely setting, traditional style room. Clean and quite well equipped.

Curtains didn’t cover door in between windows, or go down to the floor, so was a bit chilly. Gap at front door let in a draught. Insufficient power points, and the ones available were awkward for kettle and toaster, although probably couldn’t be changed. Room not big enough for more than a night or two since no storage or room for wardrobe.

I look forward to my work travels to Maldon. Accommodation always exceeds my expectation. Olivia and Adrian are the most friendly, warm, respectful and welcoming people I have ever met. They never seem to disappoint when accommodating my needs, from early check in to latest check out. Cozy little retreat, super comfortable bed, amenities and mineral pool to die for My home away from home!!!

That I am not able to stay longer. Will look to book for a family getaway.

More than just a motel room. Each room has a beautiful bed with crisp, clean sheets and amazing pillows. Also either a sofa or armchair to relax in. There is a microwave, fridge, kettle etc. But also there are drinking glasses, wine glasses, plates, bowls and cutlery. There is a split system and plenty of windows and doors to open and let the sunshine in. There is also a chair outside each room to sit and enjoy the beautiful gardens. Check in and out is so easy with a key box and code so you can arrive anytime and go straight in. I always stay here when I come up for Antique Fairs. I feel very safe and well looked after.

Well laid out ,great comfortable chairs and table near bed to have a coffee and read,bed was comfortable,heating very good and the bathroom very clean and functional. Great view of the garden and the parking at the rear close to the room was great.

The fact that you could only clean up cups etc in the bathroom vanity basin, water pressure not the best as it was slow to have a wash and even to fill the kettle,so we decided not to use the shower . Probably a side table on both sides would be a good idea
