The location was central.

The receptions poor response to me using booking.com instead of calling direct, and the difference in what I reserved on booking.com to the actual room. Truth is ... without booking.com, I wouldn't have known the motel existed. As a regular booking.com member, I booked a superior queen bedroom (for the large open bathroom) and a discount. Upon arrival, I was given a standard double with a very tiny bathroom. So I overpaid for a standard double thinking I was getting a discounted queen.

Good parking close to room. Excellent triple glazing for sound and heat insulation. Good heating and cooling. Contemporary bathroom and adequate kitchen facilities including reasonably sized refrigerator microwave toaster and kettle with French coffee press and ground coffee. Good breakfast service at reasonable prices. Most comfortable bed and linen. Truly friendly and locally informed staff supportive with all requests. Very convenient to city centre by foot with good food access locally.

The attention to detail from check in to check out was superb. The staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful. Everything from location to the cleanliness of the room was fantastic. Towels! The towels were SOFT and large enough for an adult to dry themselves! There were real plants in the room, and the soap was all natural and smelt great! And despite being on a major road, the windows were triple glazed so I didnt hear a thing! Next time I’m in Bendigo, I know where I’ll be staying.

Lovely. Otel in the central city area with nicely appointed rooms and very friendly and helpful management. We opted for an in-house breakfast due to a booking at the local attractions next door and it was really nicely presented and filling. Would definitely opt to stay again.

Car parking spaces were a little tight but thankfully the house was not full for the evening so we were able to keep our near-new rental away from other guests’ vehicles ($5000 damage premium tends to make one a touch paranoid!).

Convenient location, clean, great hotel across the street for meals and plenty of off street parking. My room was set up as semi self contained providing toaster, microwave, plates and cutlery. Triple glazed windows blocked busy road noise. The onsite Manager Mark is such an asset, very polite and a wealth of knowledge regarding local history and attractions. Would definitely recommend.

Minor dislike was the soap dispenser in the bathroom, very difficult to use. Easily fixed, bring your own as I usually do but forgot this time.

Room was very clean, easy to find. Staff were very kind and helpful. Bed was very comfortable. If the windows are closed you can barely hear the sounds from the street.

Slight mold smell coming from the bathroom, made worse with a shower. Barely noticeable though.

The staff are very friendly & helpful. I got in late last night from a delayed flight around 9pm & the owner waited for me & helped me upstairs with my baggage. Room was spotless clean & very comfortable. Great air conditioning. Motel was completely booked out tonight & i asked them to notify me if there was a cancellation & they called after they'd let me store my belongings there for the day & they offered me a room that'd come available which was an upgrade & turns out it was to be a honeymoon suite! Can't recommend Central Deborah high enough. Outstanding!!

Great room, very clean and comfortable. Quiet, great shower, big bathroom, heaps of space in the room.

The only thing I could say would be, the water container in the fridge was empty so having cold water wasn't possible & the pillows were way too high. We both woke up with a headache and sore neck. Everything else was AMAZING and these points are kind feedback only - we will definitely be back!

The property was clean and welcoming. Staff were positive and helpful when checking in and ensuring I had everything needed. The motel was in a perfect location for my needs and easy to get to. The room had everything needed and was very spacious.

We spent the long weekend in Bendigo and chose Central Deborah Motel based on previous Tripadvisor reviews. We were not disappointed with our choice. Upon checking-in, our room was immaculately clean, and beautifully presented with nice decor. The room had everything you needed, ironing board, kettle, toaster and plenty of supplies (milk, coffee etc). Some places we’ve stayed always have TV signal issues, but here was perfect, with the ability to sign into your own streaming service. The location was perfect, as it was only up the road from the main town and directly next door to the scenic tram and gold mine. We only spoke with management upon check-in and check-out, and they were very friendly and welcoming, and you could tell they are proud of their establishment and Bendigo. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to our next trip to Bendigo.
