We loved the friendliness of the staff, the a la carte breakfast in the dining room and the view from the room overlooking the garden. The location being close to the Bendigo CBD and overlooking the lake is a plus.

The bed was a bit hard and I woke with a sore back. The shower leaked, so we needed extra towels to mop up the water. Nowhere in the shower to put body wash, shampoo and conditioner except on the floor - not practical for a person with a bad back. My requested item for room service breakfast wasn't available. Other options were offered, but not what I wanted, so we went elsewhere for breakfast.

Arrived a little early, receptionist smiling, friendly, rang through to see when the room would be ready. 15 minutes later in my room, after enjoying a hot chocolate in the dining room, looking out at the lake. Dinner that night enjoyed by all 9 people, pricing very reasonable. Again, friendly staff, lots of laughs, which was nice as we were in Bendigo for a funeral service. Room, very spacious, as was the bathroom , good quality towels. Very clean and plenty of extra pillows and blankets if needed. Reverse cycle air conditioner is easy to use via a remote control, and the room remained cosy and warm. Breakfast choices are a buffet breakfast, cereal,fruit, yoghurt, juice, and/or a hot meal. Meals were very reasonably priced. Check out speedy and without delay. Will visit again.

Nothing I did not like. Didn't use the pool but was sparkling clean, nice area with a green garden. Good for clients with children. Temperature 2-11 degrees!.

The Julie-Anna was perfect. The location is excellent with the lake across the road and plenty of venues in walking distance. Be sure to eat in at the restaurant as the food was great. The private garden/pool area in the middle of the accommodation is perfect to catch up if you are travelling with others. The staff across the board were excellent and always happy to help. We stayed for 9 nights and if we have to come back to Bendigo I would definitely stay at The Julie-Anna.

The Julie-Anna is a lovely motel, very well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Dianne was very friendly and helpful. As we were moving from Qld to Vic, we only had a very brief one night stay but were able to check out early. The Julie-Anna is perfectly positioned opposite a lovely park and lake, close to the heritage tram tours and all the lovely CBD and its glorious history has to offer. Don't miss the magnificent barramundi at Jun and Nov restaurant not far away! Will certainly return to the Julie-Anna when we return to Bendigo for the Lost Trades Fair.

The staff are ever so welcoming on your arrival and helpful with info regarding Bendigo. We have stayed here on a number of occasions and have always found our accomodation comfortable and clean with everything we need for our stay.. Our room looked out onto a lovely green garden with a pool. Parking is right outside your door. The Bed was comfortable had a grest sleep and lovely size bathroom, smart tv, reverse cycle aircon, table and chairs and couch.. its situated right across the road from Lake Weerona lovely walk around the lake and so close to everything.. its one of the best accomodations we have stayed in Bendigo and will be happy to stay again.

The reception was excellent, prior contact before arrival excellent, information about additional services excellent, the room was very comfortable and larger than your average motel, very clean, a very large bathroom, the only complaint is the shower head , still in the 1980s , not to take away from the amount of towels and other supplies, plenty of tea and coffee and biscuits in the room, we will stay here every time we visit Bendigo.

As mentioned the only complaint is the shower head, really outdated by 30 years.

From checkin to checkout the stay was seamless. The room was well equipped, functional and spotless. We chose to eat in at the restaurant after chilling out in the pool for the afternoon and did not regret it. The food was exceptional, the young service staff were exceptional. Nash and Rylee did the Julie - Anna proud. We ordered off menu cocktails and although Rylee looked unsure she absolutely nailed those Margaritas. I will definitely be becoming a regular.

Everything - location (right opposite the lake), size (compared with other motels the room and bathroom were huge), lighting was great, the bathroom had two sinks and plenty of bench space for toiletries for both of us, the bed was comfortable, parking was excellent with plenty of space for turning and backing in, there was no traffic noise, the heating was good, the floor to ceiling windows and glass door looking onto the internal garden created a peaceful outlook, the biscuits were a bonus, the restaurant has a beautiful view over the lake and the food was superb, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

There was nothing to dislike, it's a 10 out of 10 for us.

the hotel has maintained its high standard of accommodation and service over the years. The rooms do not feel old or tired, the food served in the restaurant is excellent, so no need to seek out other restaurants, and the hotel is located over the road from Lake Weeroona. The walk around the lake is easy and a great form of exercise.

There was nothing we encountered that we didn't like about the place. Even the trains passing by during the day stopped at night so even that did not disturb our sleep.

Their hospitality was exceptional, and they were always ready to assist. The room was a perfect blend of comfort and functionality and impeccably clean. Given it was warm we certainly made use of the pool facility. The location is ideal being directly opposite Lake Weeroona with a blend of cafes and restaurants nearby and not too far from the City Centre. We have stayed here on multiple occasions and continue to return due to the hospitality and the amenities cater to all our needs.

Not really a dislike but the beds are a little firmer for our liking but this will always be a subjective measure.
