Easy to locate. Suited our needs. Close enough to what we wanted to see. Only saw staff on arrival but very pleasant lass. Two night stay, room was serviced first morning which we didn't expect. Overall a good stay. We are ex motel owners ourself and appreciated the effort made.

Position on main road meant a lot of traffic noise, particularly on Saturday nights. Loud cars and motorcycles, local young people I guess. Parking was a bit chaotic, no set spot for your room. Being ex motel operators we found that a bit confusing as we couldn't park outside our own room.

This is one of the best all round Motor Inns I have stayed at in my travels around Australia photographing Silo & Water Tower Art. Of brick construction the room was nice & quiet, carpet, hot water, A/c., electric blanket, a warm welcome booking in with milk for tea & biscuits & a comfy bed & good lighting. For an early start the next morning, just had to leave the key on the table. For me the location was just what I wanted with its own traffic lane & traffic light for ease of going in & out at peak hour.

My 3 stars for facilities was my ' Motel Must ' which the Motor Inn did not have & that is covered car facilities. Parking was at the door but on a cold, wet Bendigo night/morning I could have done with it. I covered the windscreen for Ice but wiping the glass work to drive away in an open 4 deg. dark morning is one thing I could have done without, as well as bringing my goods & chattels in then back again to the car.

Greeted by friendly & considerate staff. Tidy room, heater already switched on to make sure room was warm when we arrived. Good location & price for what we needed

Parking not allocated to specific room number. The only vacant carpark when we arrived back at the hotel for the night was located on the opposite side from where our room was. This wouldn’t have been a big problem if another inconsiderate customer had parked correctly. Instead they parked in 2 car parks leaving not enough room for our car. I ended up parking out the front of the hotel.

Very Friendly Staff. Never had this before, but Kerry and Rod have just taken over the motel, and you couldn't want for a better couple to look after you. They are the hosts with the most. We only stayed one night on our travels to Queensland, but when ever we travel through Kangaroo Flats Bendigo, even if we are not stopping over night, we will certainly drop in and say hello to the wonderful people. If you are looking for a place to stay in Bendigo, give the Sandhurst Motel a go, and you won't regret it. Thanks and Rod

Staff were so friendly and helpful and our room was clean and cosy. Location was also perfect with a shopping centre down the road and a bus stop right outside. We had a jug, toaster and microwave so we were able to prepare food which was great. It was certainly good value for money. An older style motor inn but perfect for our needs. Jasmine and Ricky were wonderful

Clean, comfortable, loved the shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers in the shower. The hand-soap one on the vanity was a bit leaky. Beds were a good size but could do with a topper on the mattress. The pool was great as it was so hot!

The sliding door out to the courtyard needs maintenance. The freezer compartment of the bar fridge requires defrosting. As it was a really hot day, what would have been better was if the staff could have had the air con already on to welcome us into the room.

Quick friendly reception. Clean room on main road into city centre. Best bathroom we’ve enjoyed for sometime; clean, recently tiled, plenty of hot water. Efficient internet connection. Usual stock of kitchenware.

The room had a strange design with no natural light on door side. To the rear of the room was a glass door onto a small patio. No big deal in winter but it meant in order to check car we had to open front door.

Getting to relax to have a BBQ was so nice and the staff were exceptional. They took our plates away and gave us fresh ones including fresh cutlery. The room was lovely and to have an outside area to relax with table and chairs was amazing. If you would like to choose a motel to stay close to heart of Bendigo. This is highly recommended. Shops very close by including supermarkets and retail stores etc.

The room was VERY large, with a comfy bed and all the mod cons you require - TV, Fridge, Microwave etc. There is also a FREE guest laundry

The air conditioner was an issue - there is an extra switch hidden away to turn it on - the owners had to come and set it up and show us - after the first COLD night - we didn't know about it and were not shown when we arrived

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable considering the age of the Motel. Could have done with an extra plate, I think there was only one, but we bought our own picnic set so wasn't an issue. Shower was very spacious and clean.

The couch was a bit (very) dated so needed a new one and spent the evening sitting on the kitchen chairs, but we mainly needed a bed for the night, which was very comfy.
