The rooms had a toaster, microwave, and small fridge. There might be a kettle. (We didn’t drink coffee or tea.) There were plates, bowls, spoons, and coffee cups. There was fresh milk, bread, and cereal at the main office for breakfast. The property is within walking distance of the main area (“downtown”) Bendigo. There is a Coles grocery store in town as well as many places to eat. Beds were comfortable and the shower was powerful enough to wash my long hair. The door also had a feature to allow you to open a small door which allowed outside air to come in through a screen. (There is AC. We just liked the fresh air.)

As is very common in many places, there were not a lot of plugs. (Though there were some in the bathroom.) Thankfully we had a plug adapter that allowed us to plug in about 5 devices (phones, iPads, watches, power banks, etc) at a time. We were next to the main road which was kind of noisy in the morning since we had our small door open to allow cool air into the room.

This is an older-type motel but it has been kept in good order. For me, the position of the motel was just what I wanted -- central Bendigo -- I could walk to the venues I wanted without parking problems. Many of Bendigo's motels are out in the suburbs & you have to drive to venues (& pay for parking). Staff were excellent!

In line with modern expectations, the double bed was King-sized but as an older motel the room had been designed for an ordinary double bed. As a solo traveler this did not worry me but 2 people might have felt somewhat cramped in the room.

Great location. Easy to find and short walk from shops and cafes. Oval and pool opposite. Friendly, helpful staff - attention to detail, motel seemed to have thought of everything, down to checking milk preferences and offering a pass for the pool. Clean and comfortable, beds were great. Have stayed before, would stay again.

Room had a strong but pleasant 'fragranced' smell upon arrival, which was initially overwhelming. Had to let the room air out as I suffer from sensitivities and contact allergies - which is more common than one might imagine. Just something to consider.

We stayed two nights for the long weekend. It was a great stay. Beds were very comfortable, rooms were clean. Towels and other bathroom amenities provided. There were enough plates, cutlery, salt , pepper. Microwave, toaster, fridge, and kettle came handy. complimentary milk provided as well as tea coffee making. We received parking just next to our room and it was very convenient. Motel was located very close to the places we wanted to travel, and everything was 2-8 minutes drive. Room heating was excellent and also nice hot water for shower. Room was cleaned on the first day we were out, which was great.

older style motel with solid brick dividing walls, so there as no carry through noise from adjoining rooms. Bed was firm and comfortable, with abundant pillows Traffic noise was acceptable, despite being right on a major thoroughfare. There were no security issues with carpark being very well lit. Room was comfortably warm without heating despite fairly low overnight temperature

The drapes could have been a few inches wider as you had to juggle them back and forth abit to completely block out the front window which looked out onto the very well lit roadway out front. Pull them a bit to the right and you darkened the room, but had a streetlight shining straight into your eyes at the head of the bed. Pull them a bit to the left and no light in your eyes, but there was light spilling into the room from outside.

From the moment we entered the room, everything looked really nice and enjoyable. As other people mentioned in their reviews, the beds were super comfy. The room was clean. Wifi worked really well. The location of the motel is anther big bonus. It is walking distance to Art Gallery, which was the reason for our trip to Bendigo. But it's also a little bit extra walking distance to the city centre. If you like walking definitely no need for a car to visit all main attractions around city centre. Overall very pleased with the stay.

Nothing to complain about.

The staff were extremely friendly and let us check in early at12.30. We were impressed with the facilities as they had taken care of everything and unlike most motels did not smell of tobacco. The guide to Bendigo were super helpful we ended up checking out most of them. The swim passes were great because when the pool isn’t busy you have a huge pool even though it’s public as the slides and dive board were great. The free milk was great and the offered water and ice. We didn’t buy breakfast or drinks but they looked affordable and delicious.

The room was a little small for a family and there was only three chairs but everything else they provided us with extra

We liked everything about the property - from the time you pull up till you get to your room everything is neat, thought out and staff are friendly and accommodating. The staff are just delightful and friendly, the rooms are spotless, the beds are so comfortable, the added little touches like the toothbrush set and the large towels just shows you that the owners care about your stay. The rooms were cleaned daily with the beds made and any dishes taken away and returned clean - regardless of how long you stay. The daily fresh milk for the coffee was appreciated also.

There was nothing I can say I didn’t like.

I had a pleasant stay at this motel last week. The location is super convenient, making it easy to get around. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. A special mention to Gary—our checkout was supposed to be at 10 AM, but we ran a little late. He kindly let us stay an extra hour without any fuss, which made things much more relaxing. Overall, a great experience with excellent service. I’d definitely stay here again!

Bit old looking, specially inside.

Our room was situated at the rear of the property and was very quiet. Parking was directly outside our door. It was very clean but some facilities required an upgrade eg. cracked tiles in the shower covered with tape and chairs requiring reupholstering. The owner apologised for the state of the chairs as that work was due shortly. It was well equipped with a table to sit and eat take away. Plates and cutlery supplied. Cold water and glasses in the fridge. Good selection of nibbles in the room and more available from reception. Extra bedding supplied in the wardrobe. Split system for heating and cooling. Very friendly staff. Great position for walking to the gallery, Capitol theatre.
