Very comfortable King size bed, nice balcony overlooking the lake from Room 104, great water pressure and a large shower, comfortable lounge, large room, great restaurant downstairs - we had the Pan seared scallops with cauliflower puree, Barramundi thai green curry, and the pan seared chicken breast and it was all delicious, very generous servings as well as gluten free. We were also able to check out a bit later @ 11am, very friendly gentleman on reception.

I really couldnt fault the room other than No toaster in the room ( although they do have breakfast in their restaurant downstairs ),

Stayed here as they had restaurant on site but were unable to have a table, even though there were plenty of free tables, because they did not have enough staff. Suggested we go to hotel down the road which we did not want to do in 35 degree temperature!

Very expensive for weeknight accommodation. $250 a night! We stayed 2 nights with other friends booking 3 other rooms. Tap handle broken. Dirty cutlery. Would not expect to pay that amount and have a sink to use for kitchen and bathroom use in kitchen. None in bathroom itself. Pool area invaded with ants. Despite all of that the staff who looked after the 15 of us Friday in the restaurant were amazing! Fantastic Toblarone cocktails made by the guy in the bar

We stayed here as we were competing at the Bendigo Ballroom dance competition. It was a great location with only an eight minute drive to to the Red Energy Arena. The staff were very helpful and the room was clean and tidy. The coffee van across the road was a real bonus. We arrived back around 8:30pm from our comp and ordered room service as the restaurant was full and closing. The food arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious. I can highly recommend the lime cheesecake.....if that's your thing.

The only negatives was the beds weren't all that comfortable. I believe ours where two singles pushed together which is always uncomfortable with that ridge down the middle.

Bed soooooo comfy. Had a great night’s sleep. Friendly staff, checkin simple and efficient, receptionist knowledgeable and approachable Room spacious, well appointed and clean Quiet, despite being on a busy road Location good, can walk into cbd if you wish (about 15 min) Opposite the lake which is always beautiful Happy hour appreciated!

Lighting in bathroom isn’t good for putting on make up Shower leaks water onto the bathroom floor as there is a half inch gap between the shower door and the shower screen, like the door isn’t wide enough That’s it! Will definitely stay again

We had a lovely one night stay, the rooms were clean and ammenties were good I like that there was ample parking and we could park right at the door to our room, so easy to get our luggage to our room, the staff were super helpful and even called me when we left our charger behind after check out. The resturant was great and location of hotel was brilliant a short walk into main street. All in all I would stay at the Quality Lakeside Hotel again and would recomend it.

There wasn't anything I didn't like

Loved the location by the Lake side- sitting outside on the Terrace for breakfast and watching Kayakers etc paddle by. We just walked across over the road and to join early morning walkers/ joggers etc or sit on a park bench watching the world go by while sipping a coffee from the Coffee Truck - quite idyllic ! We also liked the very friendly & helpful staff - the dining room & bar staff were so nice.

Room was lovely as PROMISED in your email to us. Although it took some time convincing staff who wanted to take our money a day early that we were promised a room with lake view and walk in shower. It wasn't top floor for the price, but it was a lake view. Food in restaurant was lovely. Clam linguini excellent and chef very attentive to my allergies and cooked to perfection.

Top two floors with lake view would have been better at that price. I get this price at the Novatel with top floor ocean views in Geelong on foreshore. The pool is UNSAFE for any seniors so unusable. There are not concrete steps going in our out and as we were going up and down the ladder the steps and frame keep shifting. You have a HUGE health and safety issue here that needs to be rectified. Advise. Empty pool before summer and install concrete steps, cost less than 2000 from experience.

room was vey clean and spacious, the bed was super comfy.

being woken up at 10am with cleaners yelling to get out of bed and get out of the room. multiple knocking every 2 minutes, couldn't have a shower or do anything except leave half dressed and in a state. But i am not scoring down because i get that they have a lot to do and check out time is 10am. next time could at least let me dress myself and be a little less aggressive.

The room was very clean and well kept. The bathroom and shower were very spacious. Bed and furniture was all very comfortable. The area by the lake is very nice, and convenient to the center of Bendigo.

Would have been nice to have a full-length mirror somewhere in the room, looked like there was plenty of space on the walls. Pretty specific to our requirements though, as we had a wedding to get changed for.

The room was well set out with a comfy couch, balcony, chairs and tables outside. A modern bathroom with a great shower. Plates, cutlery and a good sized refrigerator enabled us to enjoy our own breakfast out on the balcony. I was able also to request a slightly later checkout so we didn't have to rush.

The chairs and tables provided on the balcony do need refurbishing.
