Very friendly and helpful staff at reception. Room was clean and tidy, comfortable bed, good mix between soft and firm. Jug of chilled water in the fridge ready, doesn't cost much but a nice touch.

Door lock was a bit temperamental, almost went back to reception to advise I had the wrong key. One of those where you push the key in then have to pull it back a small amount to get it to turn. Also the light in the ensuite was out, very dark having a shower early in the morning with only a small amount of light from the kitchenette area.

This is a great little hotel with the addition of a small kitchenette making it easy for breakfasts and snacks. The location is a great base for exploring the area . Very comfortable beds . There is a great little pub and restaurant an easy walk in the next block, and the botanic gardens just next door are good for taking a walk

As a couple having two keys would have been better but nothing else bothered us

There were 2 separate parts so it was good to be able to separate when needed through there being multiple rooms.

That the bathroom sink/tap Is also the kitchen sink/tap, there was a really old sponge that looked like it was a year old and the detergent looks 20 years old so we replaced the sponge and bought ourselves some detergent. There's nothing to cook real food, and the microwave only heats in small intervals so doesn't actually heat anything up, just made it soggy. The beds come away from the walls and because they're on wheels you keep nearly falling off the bed backwards just to rest your back on the apparent back rest.

We stayed not long after the new owners took over. They were very friendly and happy to take feedback. Being near the botanical gardens was a bonus, as we were able to take a stroll through when going for breakfast there. There was also a great cafe for breakfast across the road. The room was unexpectedly large for motel-type accommodation and truly was an apartment.

The parking wasn't assigned and found that apartment next to us had multiple vehicles that took up all the parking near our room making packing the car with stuff for us and the kids a bit annoying.

Very clean and tidy. Did not have breakfast - and because of the hot weather did not look around the area but it appeared to be well located. Not far from the lake. No traffic noise of note. The Studio room we stayed in was exactly what was required. The motel is a little way out of the City Centre - which may not suit some, but was most suitable for what we were looking for.

Nothing that I can think of. Suggestion - Perhaps a sign for the power switch for the microwave as it took moment to find.

2 bedroom apartment had spacious living areas with large built-ins in each bedroom. Large open shower recess. Very clean! Large fridge/freezer. Separate toilet Friendly staff Close proximity to Bendigo Racecourse where we were attending the Lost Trades Fair.

We booked our room due to the location being close to the event we were attending it was so much better than I expected the room looked like it had just been renovated , very clean and the three nights we stayed we had no noise at all and I felt safe parking my 60 year old show car there overnight The staff were very helpful when I asked direction

The location was perfect for our stay, close to everything we needed and a lovely park nearby for a morning walk. Reception were lovely to deal with and very helpful with information.

We were traveling with a pet and unfortunately the gravel driveway and noises outside were very unsettling for them. Putting pet friendly rooms in a less central section of the property might help with this.

The property was clean, good value for money and the staff very helpful. We needed a last minute after hours check in and Harry was very helpful and arranged it for me on the night, he had even left the lights on in our room! We were flying from interstate for a basketball tournament with delayed flights, so the understanding of staff was most appreciated!

For what you pay, we were happy with everything.

Location was good, only 5 minutes by car to central Bendigo. Booked the disabled studio for my husband who has limited mobility. Studio was large with self contained kitchen and larger bathroom. Disabled parking right outside the studio.
