The motel itself is an attractive building. The staff are friendly and exceptionally helpful - even assisting another guest to repair his car. Our room was clean and well serviced. The beds were comfortable. The provision of a large space where people could sit outside and chat with others seemed very well received.

My wife, a football fanatic, was disappointed that satellite channels were not available even though they were included on the Booking.com website. I changed my booking to include an extra day. This was not possible though the Booking.com website but fortunately the staff were able to arrange this for me.

Comfortable room, spacious, with everything I needed for an overnight stay. Comfortable bed and good night’s sleep. Good location, and quiet - didn’t hear any traffic.

Communication: Housekeeping knocked on the door an hour before checkout time. Would have been awkward if I were sleeping in, or going to the shower. Looked like an electric blanket provided, but didn’t warm the bed when switched on for about 15 minutes. Luckily I carried my own heat rice bag, but next time I would ask for help with the blanket if it’s really wintry.

Really good facilities. Room was very big for the price. Much bigger than other motels in the area. Undercover parking was a godsend on hot days. Good pool. Good open area. Lots of room to move. Amenities in the bathroom and decent sized towels. Very handy cafe, convenience store and bakery within walking distance.

Not a dislike but actual reception hours didn't match advertised hours. Made check in and check out slightly difficult but staff were contactable if needed.

Booked the queen executive room for three nights. We checked in after hours due to travel issues coming from Interstate, they made it easy and stress free. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Room was well stocked, sheets and lined all fresh, clean and good quality. Carpets and surfaces all clean and well maintained too! The parking is easy and the pool looked nice.

The freezer needs defrosting we couldn’t use it. We didn’t raise it as an issue with them though because everything else was great.

It was good to have the second bed in the room, so that one of my grandbabies could stay with me. The staff were very helpful e.g. on the first morning I called reception to ask about ordering breakfast (I couldn't find anything in the room about it) and was told it should be ordered the night before, but that they would bring it up for us, and they did.

There were no instructions in the room regarding ordering breakfast, and although advertised as having cable tv we couldn't figure it out. There were no instructions as to how to use the TV and Netflix/Prime etc were only available if we already had an account that we could log into.

well thought out provisions in all in bed and linen. Good microwave and basic food prep equipment.crockery, cutlery etc. Well supplied with tea and coffee. Very clean bathroom and all areas. we felt safe and that our belongs are locked up well. someone always in the office. V friendly and helpful staff.

the heating and air conditioner unit need to function better. Needs a service.

Have been staying here for many years, through 3 changes of management/ ownership. The current one is the best of the lot. First visit with new owners last week. Receptionist saw on his screen that I was a regular and, without even telling me so as to sweeten the surprise, comped me a full-size suite instead of my base-level standard room. With jacuzzi if you don't mind. Very pleasantly surprised indeed.

Not much wrong with this joint, Old Faithful. To list anything here would just be me being picky and overly particular. It's all good.

A beautiful well furnished room. Good strong upper end furnishings, spa bath. A very clean room and bathroom area. Undercover parking and a lift up to the first floor. A very courteous and happy young lady on the front desk.

Old style tv in the room that couldn't get channels 7 or 9 and none of the newer Smart tv options. Would have given a 10 rating instead of a 9 had this tv been more modern. Apparently they are in the process of modernising these.

Lily at reception is always most helpful if any issues arise. I've been staying there for years now, since well before Lily & & Co. became the new owner/operators and I'm glad to report that standards have been maintained.

Not much. I first started to stay there as there was plenty of room to park (I travel with a trailer), but kept staying cos it's very good. I can't really cite any specific incidents that would cause me to complain. Oh, OK. If i must complain. I reckon rooms should be $100 less... :-)

Kerry and Rod who run the property were wonderful. My husband was taken ill and Kerry called an ambulance and Rod waited outside to guide them in. My husband was taken to hospital. He was discharged the next day and I asked Kerry if she could ring a taxi for me. She wouldn’t let me get a taxi and she drove me to the hospital to pick my husband up and brought us back to the hotel. They were so kind to us and we can’t thank them enough. We would recommend this property because of the couple who run it.
