What a hidden gem! The outside disguises the hidden gem of a room. First of all we travel all over, mainly in 4-5 star hotels in suites and also platinum members within hotel chains. Last minute booking for business trip. Honestly, we were a bit concerned as my wife has allergies. Not only was it clean and fresh but renovated inside with good size screen and streaming accessible like Stan and Netflix. (See my actual photo upon arriving) Heater worked well in freezing temperature outside. Steaming hot showers also. Well appointed with kettle, toaster, microwave in room also with biscuits, coffee and tea. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom had body wash, shampoo and conditioner wall mounted in shower and wall mounted hand wash and lotion near basin. Felt secure with electronic keypad entry. San greeted us and was a pleasure to deal with. Have told other business people to stay there also. Impressed.

Contactless check-in. Room was comfy, not noticeably dirty. I didn't hear my neighbours in their room (though maybe they were just quiet...) Various streaming services available on the TV. Foodary next door. Hand soap, moisturiser, shaving cream, body wash, and shampoo/conditioner all provided.

You can hear people talking outside your window clear as day. Sometimes the traffic wakes you up. But the traffic noise is nowhere near as bad as when people are talking outside your room. I pushed the plug down to fill the sink and then the plug wouldn't reopen. I had to scoop water out. The hotel is a fair walk away from any station. About 25min walk from the closest.

Great location, staff were super friendly at check in walking us to our room and even wanted to meet our dog. Very dog friendly with a large dog park for playing. Beds and pillows were super comfy. Kitchen was well stocked and such a relief after a long day on the road. Shower had great water pressure.

Unfortunately the night we arrived there were a lot of bugs around which flew inside the room as we were carrying our bags in. Luckily we had fly spray in the car. This was at no time the fault of the hotel.

Everything! Clean and tidy the room had more than we were expecting including cutlery, plates, bowls etc. Tea and coffee, toaster and microwave, supplied. The bed was very comfortable, something that I was concerned about with a shoulder injury. Heating and cooling supplied and very effective. My marker for good accommodation is ‘would I stay here again’? The answer, yes I would and I would happily return for a longer period than just the over night stay we had this time. Highly recommend.

The room was surprisingly nicely refurbished for an older style motel. The staff helpful,beds comfortable, not so much room to move around but definitely value for money.

The only issue was that the parking wasn't clearly marked so therefore consumers parked in other persons parks making it difficult to carry luggage to and from the vehicle further from the room as both my friend and I have special needs.

Even though the rooms were close together, I did not hear anything, from anyone. I did hear road noise but that didn’t bother me. The self checkin was a great concept and no room keys to worry about made checkout as simple as closing the front door.

The floors were a little dirty – that’s the only thing I’d say could have been better. I also ended up going to the local laundromat cause the dryer had a sign saying it was broken. But other than that all good.

Room was nicely furnished and clean. Well equipped with Microwave, fridge and Kettle, iron, hairdryer... AND dishwashing supplies!! Online CheckIn and doors to the rooms with a code. So really no staff visible to talk to. Rooms were made up every day and fresh towels provided as well as coffee etc. refilled. First impression was a bit of an "ooops" from the outside.... rooms were of a good space and nicely furnished... except for the armchairs which were quire worn out.

Lots of traffic during weekdays on the main road. Our room was located close to the entrance... so quite loud in the morning. Also.. the bathroom and toilet were freezing cold... In winter this will be quite interesting.

The convenience of check in, close to shops, service station next door, bus stop just outside of motel. The room had split system heater/ AC, electric blankets on all beds, extra pillows, extra blankets, ironing board & iron, tea, coffee, sugar, 2 separate packed jam biscuits, cleanliness of the room. We had cutlery, plates, bowls, mugs, drink glasses & wine glasses. Shampoo/ conditioner, body gel. Really good hair dryer.

The noise of the road as it was really busy. The block out blind still let light in, the bathroom & toilet are freezing due to concrete walls.

It was better than I was expecting for what I paid. Check in & out was easy. (Self check in.) Parking available. Rooms were basic but very comfortable and clean. Friendly staff.

Certainly the building and facilities are old, but that they are well maintained and clean and lends more to a sense of childhood nostalgia more than anything negative. It's not fancy is all. Some people (like myself) appreciate that whilst others might find it not to their personal preference.

For the price we were happy with the size of the room, comfort of the bed. Shower pressure was good. Plenty of tea and coffee. Plates and bowls and cutlery for our own breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful.

The shower could do with a good clean with Mould away. Available at Aldi. Does a good job. Floor needed mopping to better standard. The kettle did not turn off after reaching boiling point.
