The location is great as it is walking distance to town. We didn’t have a car. It was very clean and comfortable. The shower was wonderful.

There were no hand towels until I asked and coffee/tea etc weren’t replenished unless asked during our 3 day stay. The awful cigarette bucket on the outdoor table was off putting for a non smoker. Especially as we had dinner out there one night. I put it away. Family members said the pool was green with algae. I thought it was expensive.

The room was very clean and spacious (not overcrowded with furniture). There was daily room service, though not necessary. Location was ideal and on a main outlet road but traffic noise was minimal. Parking was inside the motel and right outside the door. The bathroom was a good size with only a small step over into the shower.

An option to have or not have room service, for example a notice to put on the door. The pool was closed because of an extreme downpour the previous day and would not be open until the weather improved.

Had an Exceptionally kind and Nice Receptionist. Our Standard Room, was nearly as Good as the De Luxe room.(Friends stayed in them) We had, ROOM HEATER, ELECTRIC BLANKET, OUTSTANDING BED AND WOOL BLANKETS. EXCELLENT SHOWER. Bed made and Room Cleaned for our Overnight Stay. The Manager, Mr Sunny, was available in the late Evening to Let our Friends into their Room when they Accidentally Locked the Key in it.

No advice that there would be , No Bottled Water.

Pleasing, older style motel room. Great to have facilities not mentioned in the online list I saw: microwave and toaster. Very good communications, right up to check-in. Very nice staff. Enjoyed hot showers. Great to have window that opens.

No major problem as I always carry a few short and long extension cords and double adapters so I can plug in multiple items wherever needed. As often found in motels, freezing compartment in small fridge needed defrosting.

Basic but clean with net and light proof curtains. Well supplied with cutlery, plates for 2, toaster and microwave. Bed was comfortable. Everything clean. If noise worries you ask for a unit away from the road.

No hand towel. Remote for a/c had flat batteries so we could raise the heat but couldn’t see the temperature we were setting. The unit numbers are very hard to see when returning to your room after dark

The room was very clean, Beds were comfortable & it had a great powerful shower! It's an older style Motel, it even has the 'breakfast hutch!' Plenty of parking and quiet!

Intermittent squeak in the Air conditioner, but it stopped when I gave it some gentle persuasion! I'd prefer donnas to blankets, but I was still comfortable and slept well!

Room was nice and clean, heating kept the room warm on one of the coldest night. Would stay again at the hotel. staff were great and helpful.

Bathroom floor did need a clean. was not exactly clean. but in the whole of the room this was minor. The shower head need a new washer there was water running down the wall. shower pressure was still good.

Weird smell in room Bedding a bit old and bed spread very dated Toilet was “hygienically sealed” but when I lifted lid it was dirty and unflushed toilet paper in there. More attention needed to details when cleaning. Traffic on road is a bit noisy.

Loved all of our stay at the Castle motel. Staff were accommodating, extremely friendly, the room and bed and everything was perfect. We will definitely recommend this to our friends and family and look to staying again in the future.

Really enjoyed our stay. Hostess was lovely and the room and facilities were great. Very quiet and comfortable. Even swam in the pool which was enjoyable! The Bridge Hotel for dinner was excellent too.

Nothing. We were happy. We just should have remembered extra towels for the pool but I'm sure they would have been supplied if we asked.
