A beautiful hotel in a wonderful setting, Hepburn Springs provided the perfect Winter break for us. The historical site was well positioned in the small town and we enjoyed local walks nearby to the Springs. Street parking is easy with good access to the hotel. A lovely, welcoming lobby bar and busy restaurant this hotel is suited to all types of travellers. The rooms were well equipped, maintained and cleaned daily by a friendly housekeeping team. We stayed four relaxing nights and also took advantage of the sauna, spa and heated indoor pool daily. Exceptional staff. Amazing food and beverage services. We dined in for breakfast and dinner daily, with drinks each evening in the bar. A special shout out to Jessica on Reception who did everything to make our stay memorable. We will return!

Nothing really. It exceeded our expectations. There was a small issue with our heating when we arrived which was sorted out promptly and staff were professional and accommodating when this was brought to their attention. They really couldn't have done any more to help us. A power outage in the region was unfortunate during our stay. We felt for the staff who managed things with a smile. It did not detract from an amazing holiday and we enjoyed a day trip to Maldon, Castlemaine during the outage.

I enjoyed the calming and serene vibes of the venue. It was exactly what I visited for. I appreciated the water fountain as a feature outside my window. The staff were kind and helpful. The room was perfect for a solo visitor. I quite enjoyed the pleasant smells all around the venue, that really stood out to me. The spabath was a good addition to my relaxation get away.

The light bulb in my room flickered constantly so I just used the lamps, not a huge deal. The latch on the window was also broken so I wasn't able to fully open my window without the wind catching it and making it fly open. Neither affected my stay dramatically.

The Hotel Bellinzona is a gem - I highly recommend staying here for business or leisure. It's conveniently located behind the Hepburn Springs spa, easily accessible through the nature reserve, where you can bring your water bottle to sample different spring water. The accommodation itself is aesthetically warm and inviting with additional access to a beautiful pool, spa and sauna. The food and drinks on offer at the Cafe and restaurant were also top-notch. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.

There's nothing not to like

The Hotel Bellinzona is a very cool, boutique hotel in Daylesford located 5 minutes from the main shops of town and 3 minutes from the Hepburn Springs Reserve and Bathhouse. They have a heated pool, spa and sauna at the hotel which is a main reason for our stay. It was family friendly and I enjoyed the beautiful view of the gardens while soaking in the spa. The restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner. The food and service were excellent. The rooms at the Bellinzona are spacious with a large TV.

The hotel was great but I would have liked to see it decorated for Christmas. The staff were polite but I would have liked a bit more enthusiasm for our welcome to feel a bit more special. And finally the hotel was clean but I think they can pick it up a notch to make it spotless.

We spent a glorious 2 nights at Hotel Bellinzona. We initially booked a balcony room and then requested to change to a loft room, which the hotel managed to accommodate (via the booking.com customer service), and for which we were so grateful. The loft room was lovely and quiet and overlooked the bush, with birds right outside our window. The room was bigger than expected and we enjoyed the pool and spa (although the pool was pretty chilly!). We had a few drinks in the lobby lounge one of the nights, and the bartender was great. The grounds are beautiful and we would definitely return for another stay!

Everything about our experience was wonderful. The hotel has a beautiful ambience and high end decor. Our room was lovely, very clean, and loved the idea of the mini fridge and tea and coffee facilities inside the wardrobe. Comfortable bed and sheets were so soft. Breakfast at The Virgin Kitchen was beautiful and absolutely love the decor in the restaurant. The grounds were beautiful and the pool and spa amazing. Had the most wonderful stay.

There was nothing we didn't like about our stay.

Rooms are very nice and clean. The heating was just right. Bed super comfortable. The best part of the hotel is the pool. Big, super warm pool, with jacuzzi and sauna. And it was not crowded. The whole family had fun at the pool. The outside garden is also very nice area for rest or stoll.

This hotel used to have an entertainment room with a table tennis and pool table, as well as board games in the past. There was a fire place and a lot of books to read. Now that area is converted into a conference room. Pity it's gone. Maybe the management can consider getting it back in future. With that entertainment room and pool and outdoor garden, there was almost no reason to leave the hotel.

The hotel was very nicely refurbished and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the barman was always really inviting and happy to see people. We sat in the comfy lounge to have cocktails during the happy hour which was a definite highlight as there were ample leather armchairs and big fireplaces. The rooms were comfy and clean. The pool, spa bath and sauna were great to have access to and we didnt feel the need to go down to the bathhouse this time after using them. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and were very surprised about how good the food was.

The walls are a bit thin so you could hear other guests at certain times in the morning. Also I would have loved if the bar/restaurant had beers on tap, as bottled beers just aren't as good. The rooms could do with power sockets by the beds as well.

The Kitchen did not match up to the rest of the hotel We were a party of 8 and sat in the back room No ambience and food was just satisfactory. We actually were advised by previous patrons not to have dinner in the motel Why isn’t the huge dining room used in the foyer So Much Better !!! We felt we were in the dungeon!! Very expensive for the quality we all decided

The most gorgeous hotel in Hepburn Sorimgs, a stones throw from Daylesford Main Street. The decor is warm and reminiscent of an old hunting lodge, and really feels comfortable and inviting. Very stylish, very relaxing and a place we will visit over and over again.

The bar isn’t open in the lounge on Monday evenings - but we were happy to have an early dinner in the restaurant and we were allowed to bring drinks from there next to the fire.
