A lovely place to stay with excellent fit out. Stylish and convenient. BUT … see comment below about data security.

I STRONGLY OBJECT to having to provide digital copies of ID before getting the key box code for entry. I had already paid in full by credit card and contact details are on booking.com. In this age of data hacks and malicious attacks WHY DO WE NEED TO PROVIDE SENSITIVE DATA TO A THIRD PARTY … WHO WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEIR SECURITY IS LIKE? This requirement is not stated up front before you book and pay, and as there is no face to face contact, there is no one to object to.

Great motel/hotel with just about everything we needed. We have been traveling for over 9 weeks and this is one of the best properties we have stayed at. Actually clean which is a bit of a rarity in the accommodation world. Loved the kettle and all the stuff needed for a meal or breakfast. Very comfy large bed and white linen, felt so cozy. Nice pub opposite, had a drink but didn't eat as bit expensive. Easy walk to the main street of Dalyesford.

Love the leather sofa, just a shame the TV is not adjustable to be able to watch it from the sofa rather than being on the bed, but only a small inconvenience. Also, it would be lovely to have some ordinary black tea bags , we had our own, fortunately. Also, some washing up liquid would be a great 👍 low rating for staff questions as we didn't actually see anyone, all the booking and information was by email. But I am being petty here as it was a fabulous motel, highly recommend.

We only stayed for one night in winter. The room had all we needed and was warm, welcoming, clean, and spacious. The staff had turned on the heaters, and relaxing music was playing when we checked in. The bathroom was well-heated, with warm water and good water pressure.

The location was OK, but if you want to go to the centre you should get the car, because walking is quite tricky at night. The mattress was a bit uncomfortable. Also, all communication was via text/email, which can be tricky if you are a tourist (like me) and your phone doesn't pick up a good signal in Australia.

Excellent king bed, massive bathroom. I was given the disabled room which was fine. Well-appointed room with nice artworks. Nice to see a pod coffee machine again, so I didn't have to bring mine in. There was a cover for an umbrella there, so I naturally thought someone had left it behind. No, the owner came and returned umbrella saying it was for my use. Very handy indeed. Quality toiletry products, complimentary snacks and water. I'd stay again. Oh, it's across the road from the Farmers Arms Hotel, which is handy. Not the cheapest pub, but I could walk which was a bonus.

Always struggle with light at night. So, the louvers didn't cut it, even though they looked good.

Stylish fresh and clean accommodation with adequate sized room and bathroom. Complimentary water, small packets of chips and chocolate which made such a difference to the experience. It’s the little things and effort that make an experience amazing. Affordable prices in comparison to other accommodation in the area. Quiet location but closer to pub and Sunday market . Perfect weekend getaway accommodation. Loved our stay could not fault anything apart from the spider we had visit late in the night. But realised they had spider spray in the bathroom the next day. They have thought of all aspects of comfort their guests.

Nothing wish I stayed longer

Worth the money! The room was a great size, super comfy bed, beautiful chaise lounge, right across the road for somewhere to eat without having to drive. Beautifully decorated, the lamps make for a perfect night in. Aircon was quiet and effective, wifi fantastic, coffee pod machine, tea, and milk, snacks were a delight after a long journey. Spacious bathroom with great shower and luxurious toiletries. Super clean, easy parking on site. Hassle free key lock box for self access. Excellent communication throughout booking and as an extra bonus, the housekeeping staff were super polite, respectful, and friendly! I loved the umbrella to take on a rainy morning and hardly heard anyone coming or going despite the place appearing fully booked. If I hadn't had things to do I would have happily spent the weekend in my lovely room enjoying a movie or two on Netflix. I stayed for a local wedding and was happy to find an iron to smarten up my outfit, and a full size mirror. I loved my stay and look forward to a return trip! Just perfect.

Modern, not over the top price and easily accessible. Was a good location just a few minutes from the main area of Daylesford. Loved the style of everything and how modern the bathroom was, comfortable bed and nice clean sheets.

Wasn’t as clean as we would have liked it, upon first glance everything looked good but I turned around to find handprints on the mirror behind the door and hair in the shower but we could look past that because everything else was tidy and well laid out.

Loved the position, room comfort and the excellent pub and restaurant directly across the street.

I hate this current trend where accommodation establishment operate without any personal contact. Everything is done via a Smartphone. It's all great until there is an issue. Happily there were none but there have been in the past (not from this establishment) and the absence of any "people" to help sort it out has been a real problem. However saying this, I'd certainly return here.

The room was absolutely beautiful! It was kept so well. It had a lovely cosy feel to it. We very much appreciated the delicious snacks and the helpful brochures of recommendations. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable and the room also had excellent heating, which was a relief in the middle of winter! The hosts were also very helpful and communicative in the lead up to our stay. The motel is in an excellent spot, a short walk from Daylesford Main Street and an even shorter walk from Cliffy’s and Beppe’s. The room we stayed in was pet-friendly, and our cat had a wonderful time with us!

I love everything about it this accomodation. The location is excellent because it is next to the restaurant (The Farmers Arms). We just walked across the road and they have the best fresh oyster. I love the bed because it appeared to be luxury with the presentation and beddings. I come here every year and this is the best accomodation I had in Daylesford. It's a perfect size for couple, and the parking area is just in front of our bedroom. The room has good wifi connection, and we had netflix and youtube on our smart tv. They provide plates, utensils, glass and wine glass. They even provide cheese board. I will definitely come back here again.

There's nothing I won't like. Everything is likable in this accomodation.
