The hotel was right in the centre of Daylesford. We parked the car in their car park and never used it again as we walked everywhere. The room was spacious and had a lovely view out over the town and of the water fountain in the main street. The decor is a bit outdated but everything was clean and tidy. The owners were excellent, even took the time to sit with us and enjoy a glass of wine in the bar that they have. The other members of staff were also friendly. We took a walk to The Amazing Mill and then down to the lake. The town is lovely to walk up and down. In the evening we walked the Daylesford pub for a drink and the on for a lovely meal in on of the towns many restaurants (75 we were told). Had a lovely breakfast the next day in the hotel.

Our room was upstairs. Our room had a King sized bed and a single bed. The spa bath with an overhead shower was fantastic. Towels and cloths were replace daily. Room was cosy and had plenty of space. Facilities included in the room were appreciated, like tea coffee sugar milk soaps shampoo conditioner. Other items in room included fridge, ironing board & iron, hairdryer, microwave, kettle. Extra blankets and pillows also available. Plenty of hanging space for clothing / coats.

Would've like to "stay longer" as hosts were most friendly.

Daylsford Weekend 2 nights February 2025 Owners Roland and Joy, along with other staff were extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. Even going the extra mile and dropping me to the wedding transport meeting venue to save a hike in very windy 38 degrees. Information on places to visit and eat was welcome. The breakfast room was bright and cheerful and continental breakfast offered a good variety of cereals, yoghert, fruit, bread and drinks for a fair price.

I felt safe and there were plenty of lights around the buildings and entrance but would suggest that installing safety chains on doors would help travellers feel safer.

Lovely old heritage building with a fireplace in the room. The firewood was replenished each day. Also had reverse cycle air con to warm the room quickly. King size bed with electric blanket was very comfortable. Great location within walking distance to main street and restaurants. Although on the main road, it was so quiet. Very clean and fully serviced each day.

Bathroom was icy cold. It would be nice to have had some form of heating in there. We would have liked a table to sit at. The 2 seater lounge was positioned under the television which made it impractical.

This location is convenient to anywhere of interest. You seem too to attract kind and caring guests. When booking, I forgot to inform that I needed a downstairs room as I could not climb the stairs and that my husband just had have a surgery. Reception was helpful and spent sometime finding us an alternative. A couple walked in and overheard my dilemma. The guest did not hesitate to offer to take all my bags up. What a caring guest and person.

The tap in the bathroom sink drips and I have to turn the taps really tight to stop the noise from the intermitent drippings. A change of the washer is required? Perhaps just a bit more attention to maintenance.

We had a mezzanine room and my son had a basketball game, which put some time pressure on us. The communication was great and a text was sent saying the key was in the room, making it easy for the young person meeting us there to get ready in comfort and avoiding having to disturb staff as the night went on. Staff emailed Mother's Day brekkie suggestions, which were much appreciated. We had a slow start to the day on Sunday and appreciated a little flexibility with the check out time. Wifi was great. Information easy to find.

If I was picky, it was a bit fiddly to plug in chargers and a powerboard would have helped for the mezzanine floor. An easy fix.

Location was great. Close to everything. Walking distance to cafes and restaurants. Very short drive to tourist attractions as well. The room was quite big and very clean. Staff were nice and helpful and friendly.

The room decor was bit outdated but clean. Maybe offer a movie channel or netflix etc for tv entertainment. But mostly small things really. Overall great place and good value for money and great location.

This place is not flash but our 3 night stay was so lovely! Walking distance to the main street and the Convent. Clean and comfy. The furniture is a little dated but without doubt Melissa & Michael went above and beyond to make us comfortable. This included a copious continental breakfast, access to extra crockery & cutlery and a happy hour in the garden every afternoon. Dinner and suggestions for outings were also very much appreciated. I'd stay again!

Central Springs Inn is an affordable and well located option for a stay in Daylesford. A short stroll from shops, restaurants and pubs in the centre of Daylesford as well as Wombat Hill and the Convent gallery. Our ground floor room was basic, but comfortable enough.

The bathroom was a bit cold in winter and the room’s coffee making facilities were below modern motel/hotel standards - but an espresso coffee was available across the road and the inn offers breakfast for an additional fee.

The location was very central. It was close to the main street, shops, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets were all only a few minutes walk away. We didn't have to use out car at all and walked everywhere. We walked to the Daylesford Markets and also the Convent Daylesford. Our room and bed was very comfortable and quiet. The staff were very warm, friendly and helpful.
