The furnishings were beautiful and the house was super spacious. Perfect for two couples/friends with 2 full bathrooms and spa baths 😍 Great central heating and easy to use fireplace. Good location within walking distance of town and the convent. Well stocked with kitchen appliances and crockery, glassware etc. Super clear and useful for from the hosts. Very clean

Could have been more basic condiments (oil, salt,pepper etc) for those nights when you want to cook at the property and maybe a small longlife milk in the fridge on arrival for a quick cuppa. Not a problem for us, but the walk into town/back is quite steep so might not be suitable for some.

Location: on the top of mountain, steps away from look out thats awesome for a sunset view, very quiet and relaxing area of Daylesford. House: amazing antique furnitures, heaps of tablewares and kitchenwares, with coffee plunger but no coffee. Garden: very well maintained and lovely Bathrooms: 2 newly fitted bathrooms very nice with spas.

If the house maintain team could improve their cleanliness job it will be a 10 out of 10. Chairs and table on the deck with spider webs, a few webs in bathrooms as well, toilet could be cleaner. Might ask too much but at this price range most of the house with a coffee machine. :)

Gladville is a cute little cottage that feels welcoming as soon as you open the front door. The beds were comfortable, the facilities very good including cooking, cleaning and heating/cooling. The spa baths were so deep, perfect for a soak after a hike! We loved the living space, it felt relaxing, like home and the outdoor space for morning coffee was great. We were in a greta location, easy walk to the strip shops and restaurants.

One of the spa baths wasn't working, but didn't impact the experience much.......the deep soaking baths were good without the spa function. There was also a bit of surface dust in the bathrooms (specifically the heated towel rails).

Gorgeous home with so many classy details throughout. The stained glass windows!! Comfortable antique furniture. Beautiful artworks. An amazing collection of homewares that were lovely to use. The butlers pantry was brilliant. And the spa baths were wonderful. It was a wonderful stay. Thank you.

The drive way is steep but you can turn around to drive out facing forwards.

The history of the cottage, beautiful gardens in bloom, touches of old and new. Loved the bathroom and nice touches. A credit to the owner.

Coffee, could not find and bought some coffee from the shops. Blankets, my friend was cold but could not find blankets. I suggest coffee and tea sitting on the bench to welcome. A nice cosy blanket for the beds.

Beautiful house that was perfect for our couples get away. Plenty of room for both couples and common areas for sharing group time.

Very hilly and tricky to access

The home was magnificent. So comfortable and everything needed was there. My daughter was getting married during our stay and the home has provided some wonderful photo backdrops. The home has been beautifully restored and we would happily stay there again and again. A big thankyou to the owners of this beautiful home.

The driveway on the hill was a little challenging.

Thanks for the bottle of wine on arrival. Good selection of teabags and essentials for the weekend. Plenty of condiments for cooking and lots of glassware and cookware.

Everything was of a high quality standard. The style and decor were beautiful. I loved having a a new dishwasher and a washer/dryer. The amount of kitchen equipt was a bit daunting and I felt a bit guilty I didn't use much of it but I fantasised a guest chef would appear at any moment. The welcome wine was appreciated. Bathrooms and stained glass were very impressive. We had to encourage ourselves to leave the house to sight- see, rather than stay in where it was so comfortable.

We would have loved some ground coffee for the first night. Lock boxes always seem to break a fingernail.

Loved the house and the way it was set up. Very comfortable.

The really steep driveway. It was difficult to manoeuvre the vehicle.
