Really great stay, easy to organise and reception helpful. Someone took my car spot before I came back in the evening so that was annoying- but there was a car spot on the street nearby. Woke up during the night because the room was cold- turned on heater and used an extra blanket and was all good. Location was easy to get to everything nearby that I wanted to visit in the morning.

Maybe just make sure who uses the parking - not sure if they were guests or not

Location was excellent - we travelled by train and it was walking distance from the station and shops and cafes. The room was clean and comfortable and quite spacious. Staff were very helpful.

The walls were a little thin. We could clearly hear a man in the next room talking on the phone. Also, the bathroom area could do with some better lighting and a heater.

I really enjoyed the space in this queen room with spa bath in bathroom, beautiful high wooden ceilings, comfortable bed, aircon, kitchenette with sink, excellent window blinds, good size TV, and clear and succinct instructions to the essentials. Cheers also for the no hassle checkin and friendly staff. Took a short walk to groceries and restaurants for quick takeaway and really enjoyed the quiet location and quiet neighbors. All amounted to a relaxing evening and a good night sleep. Thanks.

Little fridge had gone and over frosty for it's own good. Easy to fix. Forgot to eport it.

Very lovely enclave of units as you drive in. The room was very clean and comfortable. Staying at one of the coldest times of the year, it warmed up beautifully and there was an electric blanket to ensure a warm, peaceful sleep. Loved the giant spa bath.

No milk sachet for morning coffee.

The staff were amazing to deal with very understanding and helpful the CBD was only a short walk all in all the stay was amazing and I’ll be recommending the colonial to people in the future

I didn’t stay at this place because booking.com stuffed up my booking. Two hours from home and they did NOTHING. The kind gentleman behind the desk tried everything to get me another local room but to no avail. Next time I will book with owner myself. Please give him business just not through booking.com 😡😡😡

Gorgeous room and we loved the spa, although some instructions for the strange spa set up would have been helpful.

The shower gel had not been topped up and was empty. There was only a hand towel and no bath math or otherwise that was a small bath mat and there was no hand towel.

Comfy, very large room with good facilities. Room was clean. Good comfortable chairs to watch TV from. Motel was convenient to shops & eateries.

Unfortunately a previous customer’s used towel was hanging behind the bathroom door. I told reception about it. Also, when I went to make a cup of coffee there was no milk in the fridge. Reception got some & delivered it to our room which was appreciated.

I enjoyed staying in what was a former Wesleyan schoolroom. Had a sense of the history of the place.

I tried the spa jets on the spa bath. They were angled in such a way that they spurted all over the floor! Note - this could have been my ignorance with spa baths. Very low lighting, too.

Spacious room with an updated bathroom. The excellent comprehensive folder provided with information on local eateries including menus.

Only a small gripe but some of the towels were a bit threadbare.
