Room was comfortable with a big bed and enough pillows. Bathroom was clean and everything had a 50s feel to it. Walmart and Target close by if one needs to get groceries or travel supplies. Each room has an assigned parking space and the lobby has a space for eating. Nice place overall. Would definitely stay here again.

Such a cute, unique, and tastefully decorated motel! From the old car out front, to the record player & box tv in the lobby, to all of the room & bathroom furnishings—so nostalgic and so much to take in feeling like we had stepped back into the 1950s! Super clean, super friendly staff, reserved parking right outside our door, nice common grounds, great location! Several “extras” too—a hand written welcome note waiting for us in our room, earplugs in the nightstand drawers, books & games in the coffee/breakfast area, Christmas lights & 1950s Christmas decor, but felt new & modern even though it was older and portrayed the 50s! Also—you can’t beat the prize, especially for Bozeman these days!
Nothing!

Very clean and spacious room. TV, microwave, small fridge. Convenient to Main St., easy to walk. Funky style, in a good way. Very friendly staff. Assigned parking. Food truck court, ice cream shops and breakfast spot within 1-2 blocks. Used books for sale in the coffee room for $1.00! Reasonable rates and felt very safe.
No major complaints. It would have been nice to know about the dining options in close range. Good recommendations were made but those were a drive for most people. I always like a binder in the room with local sites, food, museums and phone numbers, etc. Just a personal touch that adds to my experience, although there were many brochures in the lobby available. I would prefer real milk or cream for coffee.

The retro vibe of the Sapphire embraces the charm and nostalgia of a simpler era. The classic red Eighty Eight in the drive, along with a welcoming and authentically engaging staff, usher you into this classic 60-70s motel experience. From the B&W western playing on the box tv in the lobby, to the vintage drink ware and tv trays in our room, the proprietors have recreated a genuine, roadside getaway. Our room offered luxurious beds and lounge chairs, dual sinks with plenty of toiletry space, separate toilet with exhaust fan and a large shower with lavish rain shower, shower head. The vibrant decor and stylish interiors throughout the entire property recapture the essence of the original mom-and-pop motel! Don’t forget to grab some Sapphire memorabilia, including complimentary matchbook, at checkout!
Not a deal breaker, but a ‘cement pond’ would have been nice! Wonder if there was one originally, where the beautiful courtyard is now?

Very helpful staff. We arrived 2 days late due to flight delays because of a storm. And even though they couldn't refund us for those nights because of the late cancellation (same evening), they refunded us on the taxes. Very much appreciated the gesture. By the time we finally made it to the hotel for our last night, self-check in after hours was very conveniently organized.
Expansive! You wouldn't pay those prices for a motel anywhere else. But that's because of the location and high season I believe... having a coffee in the morning would have been nice. There is a really cute coffee shop opposite of the reception building, so that's just a very minor point.

Wonderful vintage motel with rooms that are a nostalgic throw-back to the 1950s while being very up-to-date on comfort and convenience. Super clean and quiet. Extremely comfortable bed, nice shower with good pressure, lots of hot water, a free-flowing drain and a handy grab bar. Nice to have 2 chairs plus a desk and chair, and a handy bench for luggage. Plenty of closet space, good wifi, excellent location, easy parking just outside the door. Jessica at check-in was very welcoming, efficient and helpful.
Everything was great. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this property to other travelers.

I’ve stayed many times. Great value, always clean and quiet. Nostalgic decor. Staff is unfailingly friendly, helpful and accommodating. It’s a place where extra effort feels like the standard. If one is so inclined, the coffee/ common areas are cute and inviting, and strangely enough, so is the laundry room. Close to “downtown” and easy to find, both designated and undesignated free parking, and great water pressure too! A valued and rare piece of local history, truly a gem in a town that’s rapidly losing them.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The space was retro and fun. The room was clean. Liked the games and record player in the lobby and the radios in the room. Also appreciated the white noise machine in the room. The room was modern but still with a retro vibe. Loved all the beautiful flowers around the property and the common quad area. It was fun to walk across the road to get dinner at the food trucks and DQ down the street for dessert. It was so nice that all the neon lights in the old sign worked! And I liked the Oldsmobile 88 near the lobby.
The blue lights on the bathroom mirror that I couldn’t turn off.

I arrived early and was able to be booked in about 45 minutes before my official time, which was nice. The first thing that stands out about Sapphire is the mid 20th century vibe, which a lot of authentic pieces. The room even had a rotary phone. Parking for the room was right out front which made loading and unloading very easy and it was a short jaunt to central Bozeman.
There was nothing I didn't like about this place. My issue with motels is always the bathroom and the one in this suite was embarrassingly nicer than mine at home.
