The hotel is in a good, quiet location in a picturesque own with a lovely garden where meals can be served in summer months. The restaurant was well-patronised and the meal really delicious and good value for money. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Upper floors accessible by lift - very handy and helpful when you have luggage.

Would have preferred a separate shower rather than a shower in bath because of mobility issues. Hotel not well signposted on the outside as I had to get out of the car to read the menu posted outside the building to ensure it was the right place!

The hotel is centrally located in this small town with free garage parking. The staff are lovely, very helpful. The rooms are not expensive and nice and big, clean, and the beds are very comfortable. We had a good meal in the restaurant and enjoyed our overnight stop.

The rooms are quite basic, no air con and simply furnished, but you get what you pay for, so that is fine. The bathroom and toilet were clean and pleasant but haven’t been updated since the late 70s or 80s going by their style. The grouting around the skirting in the toilet is all discoloured so looks pretty unpleasant, but is doubtless quite clean.

Warm welcome. Great garden to the rear of the hotel - perfect for a pre-dinner drink or a gentle evening meal. Really good food and decent quality wine at reasonable (hotel) prices. The room was well equipped and spacious and the bed was super-comfy and large. Our room overlooked the rear gardens and was very quiet. The opportunity to park our car overnight in a locked garage was a definite bonus.

Most staff were friendly. Room was better than expected Outdoor space was very nice and tidy.

One member of staff was less than friendly and even with my poor understanding of the French language I was able to understand what he thought of the English. The town was deserted after 7 pm with very little open.

From Melanie on reception, to the restaurant staff the service was exceptional. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant deserves a Michelin star the food and service was that good. This hotel has a great team who understand hospitality at the highest level.

Easy to find, parking onsite and on street, very quiet and lovely garden. Staff absolutely lovely as was the food at dinner. Breakfast OK. Big comfy beds, clean room, odd shower head though.

Hotel was large enough to have all facilities with restaurant but still family run with personal touch. Management could notice have done anything more to improve our stay.

we stayed here for just one night, the staff were all fabulous and made us very welcome. we ate in the restaurant and the food was very good but the asparagus panna cotta was a taste sensation! If we come back this way we’ll definitely stay!
