Hovs Hallar is utterly idyllic. The location is beautiful, the rooms are fairly spacious and with good views, and the restaurant is lovely. We stayed in the middle of June and were treated to the most beautiful sunset, seen from the terrace of our room. Apart from the hotel and restaurant being good, what makes this place is the setting. There are very pleasant coastal path walks and one lovely walk (more of a scramble down a long flight of rocky steps) down to the rocky beach. The parking is public, but it is free and directly in front of the hotel, making it convenient and safe.

A very nice hotel, close to the sea and next to a natural reserve. It is also near a very important site for european cinema. You must stay here especially if you are cycling on the Kattegattleden route, the hotel is very friendly to cyclists. Do not forget to eat at the restaurant that combines good food with an excellent panorama.

A duet was singing during supper. They were OK, though we found having people singing during supper a bit strange. Not certain that the hotel has people singing every evening.

Spectacular location, quiet, serene. Easy access to nature trails. Hotel restaurant has amazing views. Rooms are clean.

The rooms have a window in the door that lets in light in the morning (which means 3am in the summer….). Bathroom needs more shelves by the sink and in the shower. Also, the mirror facing the toilet is awkward and could be moved to the bedroom. Oh and theres only a bedside table on one side.

I loved the comfort of the room, the bed was amazing, the chromecast and little fridge with complimentary sparkling water, the outdoor spa, the location that made it possible to be close to nature and see the sunset without a lot of people around. The grill buffet in the restaurant was great, very taste and fair priced.

The breakfast buffet didn't have sweet options and the shower could use a limescale clean.

Amazing hotel at the seaside with a magnificent view at the sea. We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed the comfortable beds, brilliant breakfast and really friendly staff. The spa zone is great with three jacuzzi in an open-air niche in-between the hotel buildings, great to relax. The hotel restaurant was great, too! We ate dinner once and we were very satisfied.

Nothing of notice.

Location and the views are the main selling points. The sea view rooms worth upgrading. Free parking. Quiet, tranquil place. Good breakfast.

Bathroom room was a bit uncomfortable as the shower door was restricted by the toilet and the other side was hitting the sink. The sink was also a bit difficult to access.

We were looking for something along the coast north of Helsingborg and came across this place while browsing. The location and adjacent nature park are amazing, with plenty to explore on hikes. The breakfast was fantastic and had many options. The sauna and hot tubs were an unexpected bonus, and it seemed that at least half the property had sea views from the balcony. I would rate this as an 11 if possible.

The only downside was that it is somewhat remote, the restaurant closed fairly early, and the nearest town was mostly closed due to it being off-season. We did find a couple open restaurants, but many were not.

Everything was perfect

Lovely wiew over the sea from the restaurant and you can sit inside and outside. Breakfast include all you need of fresh salty and sweet choices.

They need to know how to softboil eggs😉 And find a better orange juice. Varm milk would be lovely to the coffee👍

Amazing view from ocean facing rooms and the restaurant. Nice, big, well equipped rooms. Nice food, but nothing super fancy.
