Large rooms with windows overlooking garden, comfortable bed, extra large in Room 10, extra large bathroom, attractive reception bar area and breakfast room. Outside large terrace with swimming pool. In the centre of town and very helpful receptionist. Secure parking with a lift down to parking area. Excellent breakfast.

Incredibly clean and comfortable.

This accomodation is great for people using it a as a base to drive elsewhere in burgundy or as we did en route to the alps.

It's an old historical building that is very charming. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were traveling with a couple 80+ of age and they were given an appropriate room for their needs. We really appreciate this. Breakfast, that was charged extra, was plentiful and great. Try the locally made yoghurts and the jams! Don't miss the market on Saturday morning just next to the hotel. Plenty of parking spaces available - if all are taken in front of the hotel, there is free parking just across the street.

Just some minor issues: I personally didn't find the pillows that comfortable. It's always good to bring your own anyway. There is a USB outlet built into the lamps at the beds but to make it work, a little blue light indicator needs to be on. If one feels bothered by the emitting light at night and turns it off, the hooked-up devices cannot be charged. In our rooms there were no electrical outlets near the bed and we had to charge our devices near the TV. You may want to bring an extension cord to solve this problem.

Quiet location, clean and comfortable. A fan was provided which was greatly appreciated.

We were promised a room with a view of both the courtyard and the street, but were assigned a room in the back with only a view of the park across the street.. We were hoping for the cross ventilation of air that the double view rooms provide.

Excellent location, staff were very good. Great room layout and very clean. Parking is public but outside hotel. Pool are looked really good whilst not used by us and restaurant look good.

Room was noisy from other guests, echos through the hallway and could hear next doors noise. The bar shuts at 9pm and then they look it and asked to leave, should stay open later like the restaurant.

The room was well furnished and clean. The restaurant served a good choice from the menu and the head waiter took time to explain the choices. All the hotel staff were very helpful. Now in new ownership since our last visits and we can already see changes for the better.

Limited parking in front of the hotel but more than adequate parking just a few metres away in the general car park.

A great hotel to experience Saulieu. Great views from our room onto the historic Route Nationale 6 and other historical sights of the "ville d'etappe" Saulieu. One really feels like living there. Great look of the hotel lobby and bar. Great French breakfast.

The room was very nice. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast with good choices. The breakfast room had an interesting history. Overall I liked it very much.

No dinner option, and on a Sunday, it is always a challenge to find an open restaurant. Options were only a 2-star Michelin across the street, a Kebab hole-in-the-wall option and a Pizza restaurant. There was no middle ground. We opted for the Pizza and food was great. Coming back to the hotel for a last glass of wine, and the hotel bar was closed already.
