Jacques, the host, has helped us a lot, literally, we need to pray for him each time we do it. Our car broke on the,way to him. Saturday, in the middle of nowhere, in the fields, and we could not get any help. Policexwss not interested, we happened notvto have European breakdown insurance and could not get anyone to come to us to help. The car was not drivable. And Jacques found us help , the tow car. This was the,real rescue and we are forever thankful to him. The hotel rooms were also great, clean and everything. but human help in ,our situation was the most valuable.

The room was clean and comfortable, with an ensuite bathroom and a lovely rural view in a quiet village. The host Jacque checked me in without any fuss. The continental breakfast the following morning was simple but generous. The price for the room was minimal compared other options in the locality.

There were no tea & coffee facilities in the room.

Idyllic location in the middle of a small village, big apartment, nice garden, friendly owners, close to the beautiful Chateauneuf-en-Auxois. The kids and the dog enjoyed the place as much as we did - highly recommend!

Lovely people, nice greeting, including by their two large beautiful dogs. Great location in a typical quiet and quaint old French hamlet. The room was fine, as was the bathroom, plus secure off-road parking .Breakfast offered but we didn't.

Very steep staircase with insecure feeling handrails and badly fitted doors that knocked in their frames. We thought it was a child kicking a football against a wall. Had to pad them with paper for peace.

We were welcomed warmly even though we arrived in the night and much later than expected. In the morning breakfast was prepared for us and the apartment was cute and the beds were super comfy, just what you need after a drive that was extended by a long stint in congestion. Beautiful location too, would have loved to stay longer if time allowed. Two beautiful fluffy dogs who are friendly and soft natured. There was a hairdryer too, couldn't ask for more! Would definitely stay again.

The location is in a village, we visited a near by castle with the recommendation of host. The accommodation is overall good for a night's stay

everything went well. The shared kitchen is small and not that tidy and the breakfast was very poor

We liked Jacques' navigation suggestion to Beaune via Antheuil - steep hill but loved the way down. We liked the kitchen facilities of the apartment (come prepared with food) & enjoyed walking around the village. Great bed.

It's an old house that's renovated but everything works.

Really clean room, welcoming and relaxed owner, good location for our destination. Apartment is equipped with everything you need for a short stay. Nice village with a castle nearby. Cosy rural environment.

All 3 single beds were really creaky in our room. So even really tired we still had some issues falling asleep. As having a good bed is the main goal of most travelers this should be addressed. The front garden is good for parking but some bushes/ trees/ pots with flowers could bring it to the next level and add some cosines.

Very comfortable feels like home , great for family with children came with 1.5yr old for a day stop on the way to southern France , close by to the Motorway over all very pleased and will definitely come again

The host is really good and helped us to charge our electric car. For a nominal fee we were also able to wash the clothes. His dogs are really friendly
