This older and beautiful little property, easy to find but tucked away in the village of Chaux, is such a gem! Our accommodations were lovely in a newly renovated and attractively decorated suite that even included a private little deck and sitting area beside a large hazelnut tree! Very comfortable bed, excellent bathroom facilities ie super shower! Our hosts Joel and Marie were a delightful couple, exceptionally kind and welcoming. We enjoyed a most delicious breakfast “everything homemade” (at the hands of Joel, a retired chef) that included fresh breads, jams, fruit crumble, etc.our hosts, anxious to learn some English were very happy to tell us that we were their first Canadian guests! They gave us easy directions to the village below where we found lots of restaurant options and the location although rural and overlooking the spectacular Beaune wine region (with lots of wine tours available) was also not far from main highways to Paris and other locales.

We enjoyed it all! No suggestions for improvements whatsoever!

The hosts! Marie and Joel were exceptionally kind and welcoming hosts. Joel, the host (chef) prepared a wonderful breakfast and we were treated to delicious dinner. Marie was very caring and they both continually asked if we needed something. What a joy it was to stay here for 4 nights. Lovely area as well. The farmhouse is super charming.

Thank you for your attention and responsiveness. Thanks to your hospitality, we had a wonderful overnight stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. My kids especially remember the delicious pancakes for breakfast – they were a highlight of our stay. We appreciated the friendly staff and the convenient location.

Everything was good.

Nice location and a beautiful environment. The people were very friendly, and luckily they used a translate app so we could have some nice conversations. They also prepared a very nice breakfast just for us.

Fantastic, quiet gem. Perfect for our large family and an overnight stay after long car journey. So peaceful and relaxing. The facilities were clean, modern and felt homely. Hosts super friendly. Great breakfast. Thank you so much for having us over.

Beautiful stone building overlooking a pretty garden with lovely terrace. The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. Our kids loved the spacious mezzanine sleeping deck and spiral staircase. The breakfast was incredible! Joel & Marie made fresh fruit salad, a huge plate of pancakes and baked delicious bread rolls served with homemade jam. Great coffee too and hot chocolate for the kids, all served in their cosy dining room by a roaring fire. They were wonderful hosts - thank you!

We had an amazing stay with the most friendly hosts we ever met. Breakfast was amazing and our toddler felt very special with his crepes. We enjoyed it all and would definitely recommend to everyone. The surroundings towards the place with the overview of the vineyard are breathtaking. 12/10 would recommend.

We stayed here for a second time after a first great experience two years ago. The room is spotlessly clean and the owner is super nice. My kids in particular loved the food (2y ago the owner made pancakes and this time he made crumble, yum!).

It was a nice place; we stayed one day, we were travelling to the North from Ski holidays. It's in the wine area between Beaune and Dijon. The place is cosy my kids loved it. Breakfast was amazing, with local products and home made bread delicious. I recommend.
