The room design was great. Master bedroom area is separated by a wide slide panel. I also liked the pool area. Very nice in this hot summer! Breakfast was lavish, and the restaurant was rather good, too.

I'd expect bath robes in a 4-star hotel. Surprisingly, there were none in our room. Also, I think it should be possible to wash hands in a toilet and not to run around the whole place to the bathroom. That was rather inconvenient as our children had to rush through our bedroom every time they wanted to wash their hands. Also, the sliding panel made noise when moved. What is really a miss - not only the roof in the restaurant was leaking to the floor during rain, but the poodle stayed overnight and was accompanying us during breakfast.

Literally 10 minutes walk into the centre of town, easy to find from the motorway, comfortable room in which everything worked, good breakfast and reasonable dinner (I would usually go out in Beaune but it was Monday night so little open), good free parking and generally efficient and friendly staff. The pool was inviting and lots of people making use of it.

All pretty good to me.

Friendly, relaxed and helpful english-speaking reception and bar staff. Rooms are comfortable (the beds are enormous!). Everything is clean well looked-after. Food from the snack menu at the bar is well-prepared and perfect if you want a quick, filling bite at the end of a long day. Great selection of hot and cold food at breakfast.

The hoses on the shower heads in the bath are too short! We've stayed here several times, and it's been the same in every room. The shower hoses are too short to put the shower head high enough for a comfortable, stand-up shower (I'm average height - 183cm tall).

Located 10 min walking distance from the city centre, the pool was great and free parking and Nice breakfast. Good size familyroom. I would choose it again.

The food in the restaurant in the evening. Oh boy that was bad. And I dont get the fact that you go to the toilet and Then have to touch three Doors and walk all the Way through the room to Wash your hands. That I didnt get . Just have one bathroom. Also the beds had sheets that had plastic covers under, that was very unpleasant and you could Hear the plastic When you turned. Like sleeping on top of a plasticbags.

We often stay here on our drive south, it’s proximity to the autoroute and fast electric car charging in the secure car park are the main factors, although a refreshing dip in the pool is most welcome. Having a large supermarket next door also means getting provisions organised for the continuation of our drive is really easy. It’s just a walk into beautiful Beaune with a great atmosphere and wonderful restaurants.

The cost of breakfast is high even by french standards

Lovely surprise: clean, stylish and modern! Range of electric car chargers - we didn't use, but v useful for those en route to or from South France; great location as a v short walk into the medieval town of Beaune; although we didn't use, the hotel has an onsite swimming pool and offers towels to use - it was in the midst of a heatwave! Very stylish hotel (especially for a Mercure); had free water to fill your own bottles and a lovely lounge area with seating and books plus a stylish bar! Rooms great too

Bit of a 'bun fight' for breakfast as hard to find staff to take orders, but not sure how to correct as staff worked v hard to keep buffet and crockery/cutlery replenished. Good range of food to suit most tastes.

Very convenient location - a short walk into the centre of Beaune and then easily onto the A6 South after an overnight stay The hotel is clean and comfortable, with a pool and served a good breakfast

The walk back from the centre of town to the hotel later that evening was very dark as there were no streetlights. The hotel and others in that area should campaign for better lighting on that short stretch of path

Great location , good parking . Rooms were well equipped and comfortable .

The shower head was completely green with lime scale which is really not as you would expect in a hotel priced like this . We sat in the bar at 10.30 pm and even though we were told it closed at midnight a member of staff hoovered all round us for about 20 minutes . Eventually her manager realised we were not happy about the noise and asked her to stop and then offered us a free top up of wine as an apology .

It is easy to get to given its location and there's good parking. The pool was lovely for my children and rooms very spacious and comfortable.

Not so much a criticism but just to say the staff were great but at times a little stretched as the hotel was busy - popular obviously.

Within walking distance of town centre. Good standard of room, although slightly small was adequate for a one night stopover. Good choice of items at breakfast. Liked the water fountain in reception to allow you to refill your water bottles with filtered water.

Nothing to dislike.
